Timpanogos Chorale concert: The Timpanogos Chorale will present "When Tomorrow Comes -- Broadway and Gospel Songs about Trial and Hope," Monday at 7:30 p.m. at American Fork Junior High School, 20 W. 1120 North.

Admission is $5 for individuals, $15 for families and $3 for senior citizens.

The chorale will perform a variety of Broadway and gospel music ranging from "Down In The River To Pray" to "Les Miserables." The American Fork Arts Council sponsors the chorale, which is directed by Brett Rasmussen. He holds a Master of Music degree in choral conducting from the University of Utah. Disney concert: The American Fork Children's Choir will present a Disney concert Monday at 6:30 p.m. at American Fork Junior High School, 20 W. 1120 North, American Fork. The suggested donation is $3 per person or $10 per family.


American Fork High School

Greenhouse sales -- The agriculture students at American Fork High School are conducting plant sales, while supplies last. Included are zonal geraniums, regal geraniums, four varieties of tomatoes, three varieties of peppers, petunias, marigolds, salvia, alyssum and zinnias. There are also 12-inch hanging baskets. The greenhouse, on the south side of the school which is located at 510 N. 600 East, American Fork,, is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is welcome.

Cavestock -- Cavestock is Friday, from 5 to 10 p.m. Wristbands and T-shirts are $5 each and will be on sale in the commons area during lunch beginning Monday.

Make-up sessions -- Students and parents are reminded that the last day for tardy and attendance make up is Thursday.

East Shore to close -- East Shore High School will close at 8 p.m. Thursday. All assignments and tests must be completed by this time in order to be eligible for participation in American Fork High School's graduation ceremony.


American Heritage School

Clean-up -- There will be a spring clean-up service day from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Shakespeare week -- From May 21-25, the school will note "Shakespeare Week," which includes a free performance by the eighth graders of "Much Ado About Nothing" on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the recreation hall. Students are welcome to dress in Shakespearean or Elizabethan period attire.

Dance planned -- The year end school dance for students 14 and older will be Friday, from 8 to 11 p.m. in the recreation hall.

Field day -- Field day for all grades will be May 29.


Wasatch Winds - "Let's Dance" May 21, 7:30 p.m. at High School. $2 for students, $3 adults, $15 families. Children under 5 free. (801) 330-2186.


Road construction: American Fork 500 East closed nightly between the interchange and 620 South for asphalt mill and overlay the week of May 21. The interchange will remain open and drivers can use 500 East to Sam White Lane to access the east side of the freeway

Fireman's Memorial Day Breakfast on Saturday, May 28, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. American Fork Fire Rescue Department, 96 N. Center Street. $5 for adults, $3 children under 12.
