Zions to issue 43 cents a share dividend -- Zions Bancorp. will issue a quarterly cash dividend of 43 cents a share, payable Aug. 20, to shareholders of record on Aug. 6.

Bank of American Fork makes management changes -- Bank of American Fork, a community bank with 11 branches statewide including in Alpine, American Fork, Draper, Highland, Lehi, Orem, Pleasant Grove and Spanish Fork, made several changes to its management team.

Rick Anderson was promoted to vice president of special projects for the Orem branch. He will be responsible for expanding bank branches in the state. Anderson has a Bachelor's degree in business from Brigham Young University and more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

Emily Haleck was promoted to manager of marketing research, strategy and public relations in the American Fork branch. She joined the bank's marketing department in 2003 and, after a brief hiatus, returned to the bank as a business development research analyst. She has worked with Salt Lake City advertising agency Riester and New York City-based Middleton & Gendron and is currently a member of the Public Relations Society of America. Haleck graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in communications and recently received her MBA with a marketing emphasis from the University of Utah.

Bill Hardesty was recently hired as an instructional design/trainer for Bank of American Fork. He has 18 years of experience with American Express and is a graduate of the University of Utah and has a Master's degree from Westminster College.

Jim Miller was promoted to branch manager of the new Saratoga Springs branch, which will open in winter. He has 10 years of banking customer service experience. Miller graduated with a Bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Cy Simon was promoted to vice president/loan officer for the Sandy branch. His duties include managing a commercial loan portfolio and developing new and existing business relationships. He also has a Bachelor's in economics from Brigham Young University.

21 Stoel Rives attorneys honored -- Twenty-one attorneys with the Salt Lake City office of Stoel Rives LLP, a business law firm, were named to the 2008 Mountain States Super Lawyers directory. The Super Lawyers directory identifies the top five percent of attorneys in the state based on peer reviews and independent research.
