SLC contractor names new manager -- Big-D Construction Corp., a Salt Lake City-based construction company with offices in Lindon and Ogden, named Rob Corcoran business development manager of its Fastrack Group, a division that supports its small- and medium-sized projects.

Corcoran will be involved in the division's marketing and business development efforts, focusing on maintaining and developing customer relationships.

He has several years of business development experience as a real estate consultant and market sales manager. Prior to joining Big-D, Corcoran was president and CEO of the Corcoran Group, a real estate agency he founded. He began his real estate career with Keller-Williams selling homes and opening new offices for the national agency in Park City and Salt Lake City.

SLC eCommerce company appoints new CEO -- Infopia, a Salt Lake City provider of eCommerce software services to online businesses, named Coleman Barney its president and chief executive.

He replaces Bjorn Espenes, former president and CEO, who will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors for the company.

Coleman recently served as president and CEO of Cogito, a Draper-based business intelligence solutions company. He was also former president and CEO of Optura, an enterprise software company specializing in business process improvement. Coleman also co-founded SBI Razorfish, a large interactive eBusiness professional services company that was sold to aQuantive in 2004 and subsequently purchased by Microsoft Corp. in 2007.
