Family First credit union worker retiring -- Roger Faddis, who had served for 32 years with Family First Federal Credit Union, will be retiring next week. A retirement party will be given in his honor on Feb. 4 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the South Orem branch at State Street and 1200 South in Orem.

Faddis joined the credit union's headquarters at the Vineyard and Geneva Steel area in 1976. He was later promoted to computer specialist and then joined the mortgage department as a construction loan inspector.

Family First has branches in American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Orem, Springville, Payson and Lindon, and a home and business loan center in Orem.

Public Relations

Snapp Conner expands to new headquarters office -- Snapp Conner PR has moved to a new corporate headquarters at 1258 West, 10400 South in South Jordan. An open house will be held Feb. 5 from noon through 5:30 p.m.

"The rapid growth we're experiencing has allowed us to solidify our role in the Salt Lake City and Mountain West market by purchasing our permanent headquarter space," said Cheryl Snapp Conner, founder and managing partner of Snapp Conner PR. "It also underscores the strategic importance of strong public relations, particularly during these times of rapid change and economic challenge."

Since Snapp Conner's inception in April 2007 the company's headcount has more than doubled, and the agency has signed more than 30 new public relations accounts. At just less than two years old, the agency has already been named one of Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum's Top 25 Under 5, and most recently, was named Utah's top PR Agency by Business Connect Magazine.

Jason Timpson also joined the company as a public relations associate. Prior to joining Snapp Conner PR, Timpson was employed by SNG PR, where he worked on accounts including Silex Technologies, UCN, Family First Federal Credit Union, and Interbank FX.
