38 Utah County tech entrepreneurs make vSpring Top 100 list -- Thirty-eight entrepreneurs in the technology and biotech industries in Utah County made vSpring Capital's list of Top 100 Venture Entrepreneurs this year. The honorees were selected based on their leadership, innovation and ability to lead a successful startup venture over the next five to seven years in the IT or biotech sectors in their role as chief executive or chief technology officer.

"One of the challenges to having a vibrant high-tech life science economy is having enough human capital in the marketplace to start and grow a business. Human capital refers to executives who can start or run a high-tech or biotech company," said David Politis, spokesman for vSpring.

"vSpring is looking for companies it can invest in. Most important to venture capitalists is the executive team. It's not the idea. Not the industry. Not the product or the service. Its the team. That's the most critical aspect of any venture-based enterprise," he said.
