Kohl's Clinton store seeks to hire 150 workers -- Kohl's Department Stores is looking to hire 150 full-time and part-time workers for a new store in Clinton that is opening in March. A job fair is scheduled to be held from Jan. 11 to 15.
Kohl's is hiring for its customer service, department service, cash register operation, early morning stocking, truck unloading, housekeeping and evening signage/pricing updates. New hires will receive the full Kohl's benefit package including competitive wages, health insurance, 401(k) plan, employee stock ownership and merchandise discounts.

Overstock.com makes senior management changes -- Salt Lake City-based online closeout retailer Overstock.com Inc. named Steve Chesnut its senior vice president, finance, and promoted David Chidester to senior vice president, internal reporting and information.
Chesnut, 49, will report to the company's president, Jonathan Johnson. He will be responsible for supervising financial planning and analysis, accounting, SEC compliance and reporting, investor relations, and treasury functions.
Chesnut replaces Chidester, Overstock.com's former senior vice president, finance. Chidester, who will report to the company's chief executive, Patrick Byrne, will supervise the company's internal data and information, including internal reporting and cost accounting functions.
Most recently, Chesnut served as vice president, strategy/market development/sales for HD Supply Inc., a privately-held wholesale distribution company in Atlanta, Ga. From 1998 to August 2007, Chesnut served in a variety of capacities for The Home Depot or its subsidiaries. Prior to joining The Home Depot, Chesnut served in a variety of operational, planning and financial positions for Target Stores Inc. from 1986 to 1998. Chesnut holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and business management from Southern Utah University, and a master of business administration degree in finance and strategic planning from Brigham Young University.
Chidester, 37, joined the company in 1999 as the corporate controller, was named acting chief financial officer in August 2003, and promoted to vice president of finance in January 2004. Before joining Overstock.com, Chidester served four years as a senior auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Chidester earned a bachelor's degree in accounting, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Utah.
