Goldenwest CEO to retire -- Shelley Clarke will retire as president/CEO of Goldenwest Credit Union on Dec. 31.

Clarke started her Goldenwest career serving members behind the teller line in 1974. During her 37 years at Goldenwest, Clarke held or managed almost every position in the credit union. The knowledge gained from her experience greatly assisted Goldenwest in establishing best practices for operations, systems, marketing and management. The Goldenwest board of directors has named current executive vice president Kerry H. Wahlen as Clarke's successor. His Goldenwest career began in 1986, serving first as credit manager before transitioning to senior management and then executive vice president.
