Several handmade wooden items are available by silent auction at the Orem Public Library. The items, such as tops, baskets, mushrooms, spoons and vases, were made by former Orem City Council member Les Campbell. Bids must be made on—location at the circulation desk. All proceeds will go to the Orem Public Library.

Children’s Miracle Network is teaming up with Best Buy, for nine—city Guitar Hero III tournament to Utah. The next tournament stop is coming to the Best Buy in American Fork, 736 W. Grasslands Dr., April 17.

Schedule: 

May 24: South Salt Lake, 261 W. 2100 South

May 31: Logan, 1475 N. Main St.

June 7: Orem, 309 E. University Pkwy.

June 14: Jordan Landing, 7643 Jordan Landing Blvd.

June 21: Sandy, 35 E. 11400 South

June 28: St. George, 844 W. Telegraph St.

July 5: Murray, 5181 S. State St. for the championship.

All proceeds from the tour will be donated to Primary Children’s Medical Center.

Each Saturday, Best Buy. Entry fee: $$25, all ages.
