Sounds to me like the district did everything they should be expected to do. Some people just want to blame all their problems on someone else. We need parents who will take responsibility. Schools can't take their place. Lady, why don't you just admit the fact that your son made a dumb mistake? Didn't you ever teach him what a bat is? Or do you normally let him handle any kind of wildlife he sees?

Just another one of those (don't hold my kid accountable for his or her actions) even though they are in high school, and have been warned about bats since they were children. I know I see warnings on the news and in the paper several times a year. Mrs. Turner should be blaming herself for not teaching her own kid.

We have become such a "whaaa, whaaa, blame it on someone else and I'll sue you" society.

Maybe, just maybe her son shouldn't have caught the bat? These type of liberal democraps give the other liberal democraps a very very bad name...shame on her. I hope Lehi city names the new sewage plant after her...

Where in the article does it mention her being a liberal or democrat? Regardless, this is a frivilous lawsuit, and will unfortunately cost the taxpayers even if the judge throws it out (attorney preparation costs, etc.)

Woody! You're being Raymonds shadow again with stupid comments like that. With the majority of Utah County being Conservative Repubican's, I bet she is a Republican. But what do I Know.....I'm a person who was once a conservative that is becoming more and more liberal everytime I here or read comments from neocons!
