Sounds like a great idea!

We could solve a lot of crimes this way.

We wouldn't need a lot of paid enforcement of many different kinds. What a savings that would be.

Let's make a list:

We could legalize all drugs, hence no need for DEA at all.

We could legalize illegal immigration, hence, no need to finance a Border Patrol, port security, Coast Guard, etc., etc., and besides think of the turmoil this action would bring to a halt!

We could legalize DUI's hence no need to finance our jails either.

Come to think about it, we could just adopt a law that says ...what's mine is yours... and then we wouldn't need jails at all - for anything. Just think of the savings this would generate.

Why, we might not even need a government!

Wow! Why didn't I think of this. It is, after all, such an easy way out of a huge problem. Just legalize everything...better yet, throw out all our laws. Excellent idea!

Except every thing you listed causes harm to us. I'm not sure how someone else's drug use affects you or me.
