Maybe, sir, you shouldn't believe everything that you hear or read in the media. Maybe you should look at more of the actual facts that our soldiers bring back with them. Maybe you should volunteer to go over and visit some of the families whose children are allowed to go to school for the first time in decades. Maybe you should ask them about being able to look forward to drinking clean water after it has been processed in a water treatment facility. Maybe you should ask some of them about the electricity that they have never had but now do, even if it is in a limited amount.
Maybe we should let the military run the war instead of all the high and mighty members of congress. Maybe they should go over and see the entire country, not just what is portrayed on the tv. Well put. Hillary, Obama, Dodd, Reid, Edwards, and all of the other seditious cowards ought to quit whining and support the troops AND their mission. If this kind of sedition had been engaged in during WWII, all would have been convicted of sedition at best, and executed for treason, subjecting all of their friends and relatives to scrutiny and investigation, at worst. They are providing aid and comfort to our enemies. Support the troops, support the war (most of you supported it in the spring of 2003), and trust the best military on God's green Earth to get the job done. They are, they will, and the blame-America-first crowd will have to eat crow when we emerge victorious.
What a terrible place to be in...to hope that America fails so that one's ego isn't bruised... :-[

"This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence " economic, political, even spiritual " is felt in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society." "Throughout America's adventure in free government, such basic purposes have been to keep the peace; to foster progress in human achievement, and to enhance liberty, dignity and integrity among peoples and among nations." "To strive for less would be unworthy of a free and religious people. Any failure traceable to arrogance or our lack of comprehension or readiness to sacrifice would inflict upon us a grievous hurt, both at home and abroad." Eisenhower's Farewell Address to the Nation, January 17, 1961, http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article5407.htmIn my opinion every Republican and / or Democrat, that voted to pass the most resent bill to sustain the Iraq War, especially the leader of the "pack" President Bush and every citizen that supports this illegal and unethical war is partly responsible for the unrest that presently resides in the world. God Bless and protect all of our Troops, the innocent Iraqi Citizens and peace loving inhabitants of planet earth.

I, like Obama, am proud to say that I did not support going to war in Iraq.
What a terrible place to be in...supporting the continuing death of our soldiers and Iraqi civilians in a war that we need not have started, a war that was not the best use of our troops in fighting terrorism and protecting our freedoms, so that one's ego isn't bruised. At least you have President Bush for company. Your feeble minds think alike.

America's occupation of Iraq failed on day one when Rummy convinced Bush we needed only 140K troops to patrol a nation of 25 million.
This war failed because of your beloved "conservative" leaders who thought this could be done on the cheap, too few troops, too little armor, wrong assumptions, too many contractors.
Nothing less.

I hate to break it to you America-haters, but American forces Liberate, we don't occupy. We liberated the Iraqis from Saddam Hussein, and God willing, soon they will be liberated from the terrorists that infest Iraq...Al Quaeda, the Islamic "Republic" of Iran, and other terrorist organizations are all fighting and failing to destroy our military...all they can hope for is that their allies in our media and politics (the American left) will be able to demoralize Amerians into supporting the retreat & defeat policies of the hard left.
We are making so much progress that the truth is now very nearly the exact opposite of what the leftist media continues to portray.

It sounds like you spend too much time listening to Hannity and watching Fox news. You're brainwashed. I don't support the reason our troops are in Iraq but I do support the troops 100%. To call people like me "America haters" is ridicules! We just know this war is a no winner any way you look at it! I'm not a ultra liberal and I'm sure not a conservative so I don't care about the side taking, but I do blame the Bush administration for this mess and people like you who keep believing this war is based on the 9-11 attacks. Wake up and see the truth!
