I would like to say to the anti-war people: If they can find a better flag to fly, then move out of our country and quit trying to tear it down. At least President Bush did something about 9/11. When Clinton was president before him, he did nothing when terrorists tried to blow down the twin towers in the basement in 1992, when 39 marines lost their lives, when the navy ship was bombed in the Far East and Read more...

Yes, Bush did something in response to 9/11. He did the exact thing Osama Bin Laden wanted him to do. We are in much worse shape because of his decision. It would compare to FDR invading Brazil in response to Pearl Harbor.

I'm surprised FDR didn't have the guts to act.

Most of us critics of Bush are not anti-war, we are just against illegal and unconstitutional "war." Such as the mess we are in over in Iraq. There was not "real" declaration of war, just a resolution to use force by congress. In case you didn't know a resolution is meaningless, an unbinding piece of garbage saying we don't care what you do. We are not tearing down this country. That is being handled by our government. when Clinton was in office, he had way more important things (to him) that he was doing in the oval office to worry about what was going on in the world outside.
As for Bush doing something about 9-11, he sure did do something. He invaded a sovereign country (Iraq) that had nothing to do with the attack on us. (That is a proven fact by now.) And he has allowed thousands of our soldiers to die, and has allowed our military to kill countless tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of Iraqi citizens. That is the measure of the Man in the white house now. A warmonger, and a traitor to say the least. You can support him all you want, living in your make believe world where all is well in the US because the economy is (supposedly) good. You are just living in denial of what is really happening. I would feel sorry for you, but I have heard and had enough of people like you to be able to do so any longer.

Bush used 9/11 to continue his father's dream of building "a New World Order." Bush's administration is loaded with CFR "world order" types. He uses the patriotism of conservatives to destroy the nation-state. While "conservatives" support his "war on terror," Bush quietly works to erase our borders with Canada and Mexico. He and his CFR buddies want to expand NAFTA and create a North American Union. So, while "conservatives" support Bush, he stabs them in the back by pushing NAU and amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. Personally, as a Republican, I hope this is the last Bush we see as President. The Bush family's fake conservatism has greatly harmed the Republican Party. No more Jorge W. Bushes, no more NAFTAs and GATTS, no more fake conservatism! We need a patriotic President and Congress who respect the Constitution and the nation-state (the good old US of A)!
