A note on flag etiquette 10 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0  
Recently our state has experienced several tragic events where our flags have been ordered to be lowered to half-staff. Most recently the death of the Crandall Canyon miners and Camille Cleverley. These events are very sad.

I've noticed the flags are at half staff this week in Provo. I think it's because BYU lost on Saturday!

I noticed today that Colonial Flag on I-15 has their giant flag at half staff. Anybody know what for?

I've given up even trying to figure out why they are at half-staff anymore.  The way things are going, they might as well cut off the top half of all the flag poles and recycle the metal since the flags never seem to find their way to top anymore.

Careful Pit your going to start another controversy. When putting the flag at half staff, you need to raise it all the way to the top first.
