Years ago a man named Ezra Taft Benson, who served in the presidential cabinet as secretary of Agriculture under Eisenhower, wrote a book entitled "The Proper Role of Government". In it he talked about "legal plunder." To identify legal plunder we simply ask ourselves if it would be moral or right for me to walk across the street and do to my neighbor what we enact into law.

We all benefit greatly by having the populace educated, so I disagree with the premise here even though I do favor vouchers - just for other reasons.

However, As I've stated in the past, there are quite a number of students for whom we are completely wasting our money on - probably about the bottom 20%. There are students who go from K to 12 costing society nearly 100,000 dollars, and then never go on to contribute a cent more than they would have without being educated. Plunder applies in this case. These are also the students that tend to draw valuable resources away from the students who do stand to learn something by being discipline problems.

We can do an immense amount of good by identifying these students early on and separating them. In grade school, this would mean another classroom that moves at a slower pace. Attempts would be made to salvage these students and get them back on course. After that, starting at about 6th grade, these kids need to be on a more useful and realistic track - either the military or being an apprentice somewhere.

Just how delusional can Americans get? How long will we display our profound insanity to the rest of the world, by calling this place a "free country"? The fact that a lot of Americans still own guns is the ONLY thing keeping the American tyrants slightly more polite(usually) than the other tyrants of the world. But the way the megalomaniacs in modern America view us is exactly how every tyrant in history has viewed his victims. Are Americans really so stupid that they don't recognize that? Apparently so.

I can't even keep up with all the examples of police state lunacy going on in this "free" country. Here's a fairly amusing one:

http://tinyurl.com/2qymzc

Doesn't that make you proud to be an American?

All good tyrants know that it is important to train the peasants to feel a profound loyalty to the regime which enslaves them. It worked on the Germans, the Russians, the Chinese, etc. And it worked on us. So many people here are so "gung ho" about America that they are utterly incapable of LOOKING at the damn country to see what it has become.

Maybe you like the ideal upon which the country was founded. That's nice, but for the most part, that ideal is STONE DEAD. We don't have it, and 99% of Americans don't WANT it. And if you're proud of our present system of government, you need your head examined.

History is full of examples of how "love of country" (nationalism) blinded people to everything else--like love of freedom and justice. We like our club: hooray for us! We just don't bother being anything WORTH being proud of. For at least 90% of the population, the difference between the Americans, the Russians, and the Germans, is the accent. And that's all.

This country is like some has-been, fat, drunkard slob who used to "be somebody," pathetically trying to relive the glory of bygone days. Anything worth being proud of about this country is long gone. Americans are, for the most part, short-sighted, ignorant, and have no principles. Stupid sheep, like the rest of the world. The main difference is that Americans were given a chance at something better--a LOT better--and squandered it.

Hooray for us.

Well keeper, what have you done lately except whittle away your days in front of a screen typing thousands of messages that go largely ignored because of the insulting and repetitive nature?

Just sent this off to Sen. Orrin Hatch during my lunch break today:

Senator Hatch:

Back in 1913, Pres. Wilson signed legislation that gave away the control, issuance and regulation of our nation's monetary system to private bankers (the Federal Reserve). Our founding fathers said that if that ever happened, this nation would become tributary slaves to the government, which we have. After this transition occurred, the IRS was created and eventually, the individual income tax. Initially, the income tax was meant to be a tax on corporate gains and profits to help fund the war effort at the time in the country, not on personal incomes from labor. Not only that, when the federal government tried to change things to include personal incomes as part of the tax, only 17 states voted to ratify the law, but 36 were required for ratification. The federal government cleverly and fraudulently altered submissions from 19 other states to begin justifying the collection of this tax. Each year, the fed legally collects an average of $350 billion on corporate gains and profits (which is justified in the constitution), but a whopping $2.7 trillion from fraudulent individual income taxes.

Its the biggest financial fraud and scheme ever perpetrated upon a people of a nation! Few people are aware of this and would rather pay their share, not be bothered by the IRS and go back to watching reality TV or playing video games. Most Americans currently live in fear of their government because what happens to people who refuse to pay this illegal tax... the men in black suits and sunglasses show up to collect or haul them off to jail. This is what happens in a police state and sadly, our nation is on the fast track to becoming exactly that. In the DVD "America: Freedom to Fascism", now deceased producer Aaron Russo goes to Washington, DC and interviews IRS employees and even its director to find out once and for all whether or not the individual income tax is legal.

Well, not one person can tell him where in the constitution the government has the right to collect taxes on peoples incomes or where it is stated law. In fact, the IRS director actually refers to it as a voluntary contribution from the people! The IRS is not even a government agency, but rather a private entity enforcing its own pillaging and fleecing of U.S. taxpayers! I'm sure the American public would like hearing that they are voluntarily giving the government their hard-earned money so that they can do with it as they please. It is absolutely incredible how far gone and crooked government is today. As a representative of the state of Utah, I am hoping to persuade you to look into this and doing something about this fraudulent schematic deception and financial rape of the American taxpayers just so a cartel of private bankers can continue to enrich themselves. Thank you.

Keeper is informed, which is more than I can say for a lot of you head in the sand ignoramuses.

You are not informed, AW. I am glad (and thousands of others) I am teaching your children and your friends' children the real American history.

With the mentality and lack of logical reasoning employed by you, it is not surprising your whacko ultraright nonsense groups receive (and always have) minescule numbers of votes.

Keep writing and educating the public in what not to support.

Your country thanks you.
