$300 per barrell oil? I doubt it will ever get to be that extreme, but $200 within a few short years is certainly possible. The Bilderberger's have stated that $200 per barrell oil is a goal of theirs as it will be a catalyst for the destruction of the middle class. We're already starting to see oil spike upwards right now and some economists think it will top out around $120 per barrell by early next year. At $120 per barrell, get ready for $4-$5 per gallon gas.
As for Iran... boy, Cheney and company must really think all Americans are complete idiots (many are, but many aren't). If Iran gets a nuke within a year or two, that's reason enough for us to attack the country, which everyone knows will send oil skyrocketing and the global economies into a tailspin? Israel has hundreds of nuclear weapons, do they not? So why would one Iranian nuke be a problem? Iran would have to be insane to lob a nuke on Tel Aviv because Mecca would be a nation of glass not long after.
There is only one way a nuke would be a threat (at least to the U.S.) and that would be to use it as an EMP weapon, but the nuke would have to be successfully smuggled over to the U.S. and go undetected through radiation sensors and then fitted to a missile to be detonated at a high altitude over the country... a tall order to say the least. There is no doubt Ahmadinejad is a nut. However, Iran will never be a nuclear threat to Israel or the U.S. because their nation would ceast to exist should they ever attempt to launch a nuke on Israel (it's silly to deem Iran a threat to the U.S.) We're being sold that Iran is a threat because like it was stated above... it's part of the PNAC plan to seize middle east natural resources in an attempt to impose American imperialism on the world, beginning in the middle east. This also has to do with the battle against China for future economic and military supremacy... if you control the oil, you control everything.

If Iran gets nukes? The Russian Army Chief of Staff gave a news conference in 2002, stating that Iran had nukes at that time, but no missiles with the range to make Iran a threat to Russia. I mean these are not ICBMs with a range of more than 5,500 kilometers and more. But as a military man, I see no danger of aggression against Russia by Iran. As for the danger of Iran's attack on the United States, the danger is zero", he said, not mentionning the dangers the missile presents for Middle Eastern nations, particularly Israel, that Iranian ruling clerics wanted to wipe out from the region. According to the well-informed "WorldTribune" website, the Russian generals disclosure of Iran possessing nuke weapon was missed by journalists present at a briefing he gave two weeks ago during the Bush-Putin Summit in Moscow." http://www.iran-press-service.com/articles_2002/Jun_2002/iran_has_nuke_6602.htmEither Bush is stupid and listening to Cheney tell him to ignore what the Russian military told him or Bush is trying to start WWIII.

Either Bush is stupid and listening to Cheney tell him to ignore what the Russian military told him or Bush is trying to start WWIII. Either Bush is stupid and listening to Cheney tell him to ignore what the Russian military told him or Bush is trying to start WWIII.Both. Bush is a globalist and a world war would be another step to achieving a one world government. He is also stupid. You probably already know this Keeper, but Bush's Grandfather, Prescott Bush, financed Hitler and his desire for world conquest back in the 1930's. The Bush family is all about oil, control and globalism.

Years ago we were selling weapons to the Iranians so they would pressure their proxies into releasing our hostages in Syria and Lebanon. Why would we bomb a country Reagan and Ollie North were so intent on dealing with.
Warden for Truth wrote: The Iranians have been sponsoring terror for decades.
Yep, and that did not stop Old Fart Reagan, conservative darling, from cutting deals with them.
Warden for Truth wrote: Saddam Hussein was no saint, but he was far less dangerous than Iran. We don't need to start a war, we just need to close the Iranian-Iraqi border and destroy those Iranians who are caught bringing arms onto Iraq.
Guess you did not get the word. We don't have enough troops in Iraq to seal the border. We've subcontracted that out to the Sunni and Shia militias. (Psssst, and the Shia militias don't stop a thing coming in.) Why don't we have enough troops in Iraq? Rumsfailed and Wolfowitz ignored the wisdom of GEN Shenseki, Chief of Staff of the Army, thats who.

At the rate things are going, Pakistan and India will go at it with nukes, stopping those annoying calls from Indian call centers.

There will be a war...probably sooner than later. Israel is on the verge of a preempted strike lighting the fuse of a major middle east conflagration. Once this happens, the price of oil will hedge toward $150 bbl, the dollar will further reduce to $1.75 to the euro, China will sell off all dollars, and the US will be on the precipice of total economic collapse, making the depression of the 30's look like a cake walk. And this likely to occur before a new president is elected.
