Next year's presidential election will be a turning point in the history of our nation. Our country has adopted many harmful social programs, and is on the edge of bankruptcy and a financial collapse. Of course, this is not publicized in the media. In order for our nation to survive, we need to elect a president who will return to the principles found in the Constitution with unwavering determination to stick to them. We need a president Read more...

An excellent letter! Although I like Romney in many ways, he does appear to be a flip-flopper on several issues (i.e. to name a couple--gay rights and abortion). Over the years Paul has taken a consistent stand on the issues. He believes in following the law (i.e. the Constitution), the free market, and personal responsibility. Paul understands that our fiat currency will one day lead to economic problems. He understands the problems of massive public indebtedness and the dangers of making the President a virtual King (allowing him to start and conduct wars at will). Although I doubt Paul will get far in the primaries, it's good to see him spread the message of Constitutionalism. Hopefully, more and more people will understand the power and common sense of that message.

That is the true question...will the public throw both parties out to the wind and vote someone else?

Most people are upset with the Republicans now, so they will vote Democratic. In four to eight years, the oppsite will be true...Wake up America! Haven't you seen enough of these two parties never really changing anything? Look at something different. America needs "WE THE PEOPLE" to stand up and show both the major parties that we want changes.

There wasn't really much to be upset at at the end of the Clinton administration. If we weren't so concerned with other peoples sex lives we'd have had a better past 7 years.
