As a Lehi citizen, I apologize for the Lehi City Council's vindictiveness toward Saratoga Springs Mayor Parker and its residents. Lehi's Council repeatedly refuses others the right to have an opinion without retaliating and trying to justify themselves. They should just promote their own opinion without stooping to rumors, inaccuracies, and scorn. On the contrary, Lehi's Council must "grow up". Read more...

Well, that's simple folks.
One, never vote an incumbent.
Second, "counsel" the counsel members in their offices of work, on the sides outside of work, at the restaurants, when they eat out, when they go to church.
Counsel is not harassment. A politician cannot be harassed by defintion as long as your advice deals with the lousy performance of the counsel.

You're asking much of Utah sheep, conditioned since birth not to question authority.

Wow this is hilarious!
Why should lehi councilman listen to another cities mayor?
Anyone, Anyone?
Lehi's city council are responsible to its citizens who voted them in. Which they (the citizens) did my resounding numbers.

Yet there is nothing wrong with hearing a different point of view concerning a regional issue that impacts multiple cities. You actually typify the problem with Utah County in that each city acts like a provincial fiefdom. Jeesh, we can't even get a county-wide address system because of petty bickering among cities. The Lehi city government has made huge past blunders--the biggest is letting American Fork annex what Lehi thought was unusable swampland that is now called the Meadow's Development. Lehi finally figured out the enormous potential value of having freeway interchanges in their city with Cabela's and Thanksgiving Point, but now they are going back to their provincial ways where the world begins and ends in Lehi.

Lehi planned for 1800 S to be the route but the Sierra Club stopped it. Lehi has been buying property to facilitate this route for 8+ years. The 2100 N route was proposed as an alternative later in the game again because Lehi owns most of the property already for that roadway that was supposed to be an alternate feeder road as to plan for extra traffic due to traffic, weather and or other temporary delays on the corridor.
