Does this guy know UCLA is 6 and 6? National recognition?

BYU is never going to be the national power house their fans think they will be.

Well, they beat Washington with a little help.

If they get past UCLA, they won't be challenged until the Utah game, they could be in the top 5 if this happens, that would put them in the national spotlight, he's right in that regard

BYU may never be the national powerhouse that some teams will be but, if that's the case, it's because some things are more important than winning football games.
BYU doesn't tend to recruit the same level of talent that other schools recruit because, frankly, many people either can't or won't abide by the standards BYU requires. Considering the people that BYU has playing for them, they have done remarkably well over the years and this year they are on track to do very well nationally.
I guess some people can't handle that and/or like to get BYU fans all worked up, but the current rankings, the longest win streak in the nation, etc., indicate something is going right with BYU football this year and you can't whine about calls that didn't go the way you wanted them to forever...
One other thought, MWC over BCS teams 4-4 this last weekend? I'm wondering if that's a fluke or if, maybe, the MWC is maturing into something credible.
