When you wear a kilt, do you do it a la Scottish style without underwear or do you do it with?

I know a guy who fancies himself Scottish. Has the kilt, plays the bagpipes, eats Haggis, washed down with an expensive single malt. He tells me that a "real" Scotsman does not wear underwear with the kilt, but the kilt, being made of some very course wool, tends to chafe, and rub raw, certain areas of the male anatomy that one would prefer to remain unchafed and unraw, especially the well endowed male. My vote has to be with.

My vote has to be, don't wear a kilt. ;D
