Donny Osmond is not slowing down. At all.



The former teen idol turns 50 today, and is trying to show that he's anything but a has-been. He just finished a European tour and has since been reporting for "Entertainment Tonight" on his sister Marie's performance on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." His latest CD, "Love Songs of the '70s," went gold in a week, and he says his phone is ringing off the hook.

Now what I cant stand aboutr this article is just one simple phrase. Somewhere in the article the next line is printed: "He just finished a European tour and has since ...." Donny never toured outside England, Scotland, Wales, Rep of Ireland & Northern Ireland (as far as Europe and recent touring is concerned). And this is not the first time such a line is printed in an article. I wonder why they do that. For Donny there are only 2 or maybe 3 areas to visit (when it comes to touring). That are USA, UK and maybe Australia. And UK isnt similar to/with Europe (and the other way around of course). Since Osmond's '70s heydays he never toured mainland Europe. So please stop using the word European when its not appropriate and not applicable. Robert

Hi everyone, I have to agree with haighton, Calling a British Tour, European is like calling a tour of Iowa an American tour.Saying that, I do have every respect for Donny, and his hard work ethics, which have seen him rise to the top again. Just like cream in a milk bottle....lol

You've been a great ambassador for the state of Utah and for the faith to which you belong. You are a good man, a good husband, great father, and you honored your parents. Plus, you can sing a pretty good song.

With all his well documented boozing, partying, wild-women and illegal drugs, it's surprising he made it to 30 let alone 50!
