Let me understand this...you get pissed because some people are out at night, causing your dogs to bark. Could be a good thing...dogs alerting you to prowlers, or US citizens enjoying their right to be out anytime they want...usually jogging in the early morning before going to work. This isn't Bagdad, and there is no curfew.
If it was prowlers that they were barking at, I could see the point. When it is dumb people out running around in dark jogging clothes it is scary. Yes there are curfews. What amazes me. They don't have any reflectors or anything. Then they run in the middle of the street. You can't see them when you are driving. Isn't that kind of like jaywalking or something.
Talk about dumb. But they set the neighbors chickens off, make all of the dogs in the area bark, and basically disturb the peace. I would love to run around their houses in the middle of the night and keep their rat dogs barking.
Better yet I would love it if the city would allow me to put up a six foot fence around my house. When the fencing laws were established it was because this was supposed to be a rural area. Things have changed.
The only curfews are for minors (under 18 years old)the rest of us are free to be out in the world all all hours of the day or night. IF your dog barks becuase I go onto your property you can complain. IF your dog barks because I walk past on the public road and/or sidewalk it is your fault and your problem. I have a dog that barks at passers by as well I just figure that is the hazard of having a dog. WHen I jog in the dark morning, by the way, I do wear reflective clothing and carry a light. I also run onthe side of the road where pedestrians belong. This means, however, that I am closer to your dogs and they are more likely to bark at me.
