Actually, I think you are making a reasonable objection to the point. The United States is slowly becoming less a Christian nation and more a Muslim nation.

Guess that's what happens when I get my hopes up and hold my breath.

Suggest you hold your breath for... say ten minutes. You'll feel much better after.

You are wrong there. We are not becoming a Muslim nation, we are becoming a Mexican/Hispanic nation. And that is based on how many legals and illegals we have coming into our country from our southern border. We don't have that many Muslim (Arabs) coming into our Country. Just look at California now that is has (unofficially) become part of Mexico again. I don't see any states that are being taken over by Muslims.
And why don't you hold your breath for ten minutes, It will make all of us feel a lot better.

While I don't agree with you, you at least have good evidence to support your position. It is yet to be seen if we are becoming a hispanic/Mexican nation. There is time for assimilation (could go either way) and immigration control (of illegals). You are right, there aren't a lot of Muslims. We are also in no danger of passing Muslim laws. I would go so far as to say that it isn't easy being Muslim in our nation right now which is unfortunate for those Muslims who show tolerance to others (yes WRZ, they exist). Lets hope we remain the good, old-fashioned secular yet spiritual (and unfortunately largely ignorant) USA.

Can't see how you could come to that conclusion.

All I'm saying is that those who flocked to these shores originally and primarily did so mainly for religious worshiping purposes. And the religion was Christian. To this day, most citizens profess some sort of Christianity. But the numbers are diminishing. We could well end up an atheist or Muslim nation. Or something in between.

How about we just start with the first.

The first what? The First Amendment?

You are completely wrong on that one.

How could that be? I'm hardly ever wrong.

What ever someone worships is there god.

Let's see... That would make my spouse a God. Good Hell!! Say it isn't so. I love my spouse... but a God?

So land and money are gods.

Land and money are assets... debits on the Balance Sheet.

Get over it and come up with something better.

How 'bout... you're a liability on the balance sheet. Your own personal balance sheet.

You're making a good point, american. Hispanics are now the largest minority in America. And with the next immigration bill that Congress is working on now, their number will double before we know it.

I don't see any states that are being taken over by Muslims.

Try Minnesota where Keith Ellison, a practicing Muslim, was recently elected to Congress. He did the swearing-in ceremony with his hand on the (gasp) Koran.

'Sides, Muslims have a way of taking over everything using tried and tested terrorist methods.

And why don't you hold your breath for ten minutes, It will make all of us feel a lot better.

Is that any way to talk to a friend?

That's the dumbest thing you have ever said, wrz, and pretty much everything you utter is dumb. See my post above about many of the "founding fathers" being Deists.

So, what was the percent of non Christians, including Deists, when this country was being founded?

My guess would be approximately .000000000000001 percent (not counting the Native American Indians, of course).

Actually Deists were pretty popular back then among the educated. You better rethink your percent there since it is WAY off.

I take your point. Remove two zeros.

Its funny, you don't have anything to argue on other than pathos and your own foolishness. That sir, does not get you very far on here.

Alright, have it your way. Take off four zeros.

(Especially when your previous post has answers to my comments that only proved other of my answers right.

The only "right" you are is... right handed. And chances are, you're not even that.

You can't even tell when your dissing yourself, shame shame go play another game.

Watch out Longfellow, we have a budding poet.

Did Sean and Rush forget to mention that?

I'm happy for him if he attended a public school. He also attended a Madrassas according to reports. The fact that he either denies attending or refuses (neglects) to explain (fully), speaks volumes to me. Maybe not to you. We I need to know everything to the nth degree about someone who would be President of the United States. Your disdain for Bush 43 should have taught you that much. Maybe not. The fact that he favors mass immigration of illegals is enough for me not to have voted for him. But who knew?

Islam does not let anyone "leave" the religion. If they attempt it, they are subject to disciplinary action including death. Having said that, I doubt the Muslims would kill a Muslim US president as he would be an asset to the cause.

The real issue here is that you believe false reports produced by those who have an interest in tearing down a charismatic Democrat rather than the reports that debunk them.

I've heard little or no reports from the horse's mouth, the candidate.

I would suggest you find your news from less biased sources.

Like what? The New York Times and Dan Rather?

I didn't vote for Bush, I had enough information to predict many of the poor decisions he has made.

List one.

The Prez's own Chief of Staff told him that the invasion and subjugation and conversion of Iraq wouldn't work several months before the invasion.

And he read it in a crystal ball.

This one single fact will tarnish Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rice, and the neo-cons in Congress and in the country forever.

And the Dems in Congress who voted for the war will shine as bright as a new penny?

I think I can see now how your mind works.

The neo-cons will not come back to power in our lifetimes.

You must be gasping for your last breath on your deathbed. The opinion poll rating of the Dem controlled Congress is far below that of the Prez's. Same with Pelosi and Reid.
