America's Freedom Festival at Provo has risen in national prominence as a celebration for the entire community, without regard to personal politics. It serves as an annual reminder of the principles all Americans hold dear. It has been a place where people set aside differences and focus on our similarities.

Dick Chaney, Sean Hannity and Glen Beck all touted as being an honored representative and spokespersons for our Great Nation ideals. And promoted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through it's owned and operated Brigham Young University.

I am more nervous about the opinions expressed by the Herald than I am worried about Glenn Beck.
This article serves more to cause division than it does to express gratitude for our actions of July 4th 1776. While I seldom listen to Glenn Beck, I do recognize that his rhetoric is much closer to the views of the founding fathers, than the silly ranting usually found in the Herald.
Without voices such as Glenn Beck we would have an even more ignorant population regarding the foundational beliefs of this once great nation.
You would display a better understanding of the current plight of this nation, if you had expressed a like concern about Cheney coming to BYU.
Aware,
Thank you for your comments of sincerity!
Rather looking towards personal seeking agenda TV hosts to discover or substantiate an understanding of our 'still' Great Nation, I strongly urge one to look for people like Ralph Nader that have little to do with some type of financial or political agenda that will sanitize lies or cover-up the 'truth'.

I was commenting to me wife the other day, that Ralph Nader and Michael Moore are pretty much the same type of persons. Both are hated by millions while they do their best to awaken the masses to their awful situation. While I do not subscribe to their politics, I am certainly not in the republican camp either.
Both men have taken on General Motors as their first stepping stone to notoriety. I see their motives as being mostly honest, but their solutions to be a bit flawed. However they offer change from the status quo which is at least refreshing.
The fact that they can put burrs under the saddles of the entrenched, gives comfort where little can be found.

Aware, again thank you for your sincere and thought provoking comment.

Glenn Beck is one of the worst talk show hosts ever.
I can't listen to him for more than three seconds.

Glenn Beck is a true American patriot. Why? Because he thinks the same as I do on political issues, that's why.
