Got a recipe?
It's all about Franks Red Hot Sauce.
And the butter. Don't forget the melted butter. About 1/3rd butter. I make them 4 lbs at a time & make a cup of sauce. As a garlic fiend, I'm obligated to add 4-6 cloves garlic.
Others add paprika & black pepper, but that just takes away from the nostril clearing effect of the Franks. I like to think of myself as a purist.
Coat wings in plastic bag. 7-8 minutes on the top shelf of the broiler per side. Cool, recoat with sauce and another 5 minutes per side.
Blue Cheese dip is a cup sour cream & a cup blue cheese crumbles with a couple dollops mayo, a splash of white wine vinegar and a couple cloves of minced & sauted garlic.
I haven't been there for a while, but Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta on 9th E & 21st South up in Salt Lake are the wings I tried to duplicate if you want someone else to do all the work.
