I am reminded of a thought that goes something like this: "Don't be the first to jump onto a moving train to and unknown destination and don't be the last to jump off".

I say let's wait until other states try this private school funding experiment out, then learn from them what works and what doesn't. Compared to other states' more immediate need for a change, we can wait awhile and profit from an established pattern for success.

I agree completely. The problem is that from everything I have read, the states that have tried vouchers have later regretted them. Too many problems.

That is why I am voting NO!

When the NEA came out encouraging children to experiment sexually with peers of their own gender because that might be more comfortable than making the big leap to the opposite gender, I decided that vouchers were really, really good.

Geez, where do they get this stuff? This isn't true at all.

Grack,

I found that line in my copy of the NEA talking points. I have used it on all my neighbors, and when I say it I try to sound grave and serious. It works like a charm!

But in spite of the misinformation, I am still voting no. Or wait, I guess I already did.

Just curious; Has anyone though of this possibility? The whole voucher issue is backed by several high-powered investment groups. To me, that just says more big business. You know, like big oil, big insurance and the like. Now this would turn into big education, which is exactly what I believe it is. And they chose to try it on Utah. Why? Because someone told them those Utahns are really easy to dupe.

Yes, everybody knows the NEA has a stranglehold on the Utah Legislature. That's why we must bring those homo commies down!
