This is probably the first thread I've read where all of us are relatively in agreeance on something and it's a welcome sight!
Washington, DC is basically a mafia or cabal, run by greedy, self-indulgent, reckless, power-hungry and irresponsible individuals who care very little or at all for the constitution and her principles. Both the republican and democratic parties are so full of corruption that as long as we keep voting in the popular mainstream candidates, nothing will change... nothing!
There are only two candidates worthy of a vote for President... Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee. All of the others want to be President for the wrong reason(s) and if we continue to have these ridiculous republican and democratic conventions and vote for the big name politician with millions of dollars who's up there like a celebrity as balloons and confetti rain down upon everyone as if real change is a comin', we deserve what we get. President Bush tried to say this once, but butchered it pretty bad... "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me". Well, in our case, we've been fooled what... dozens of times?
How long before this nation wakes up as a whole??? Our government is run by a gang of blasted thieves and crooks who have no regard for the people of this country and are far from being "representatives", including our own beloved Sen. Hatch and Bennett... two phonies who ought to resign immediately, just like all of those other men engaging in graft, greed and corruption on a level we cannot begin to comprehend!
