U.S. Rep. Chris Cannon has hinted that federal funding might help pay for the project.

With all of the pandering and "rubber stamping" yes votes on bills such as the misnamed Patriot Act and handing American jobs to foreigners, Cannon should be able to come up with money if Alaska can fund the Bridge to Nowhere. The bridge in Alaska that would connect the town of Ketchikan (population 8,900) with its airport on the Island of Gravina (population 50) at a cost to federal taxpayers of $320 million.

Why not build a tunnel to Herriman? I'm opposed to any road that would facilitate Eagle Mountain access to a metro area.

Forget the tunnel... let's just build a wall around Eagle Mountain.

Well, if designed correctly, Utah Lake could serve as a moat.
