This is one year that Utah should take a break from tax cuts, and if anything do more to invest in infrastructure to ensure its future prosperity.

Since the liberal Daily Herald advocates taxing and spending other people's money, I believe the Herald should set an example for all and pay more in taxes than legally required!

Yes, roads and bridges are a communist plot to enslave America. Or is it a Masonic Zionist plot?

Tax his land,
Tax his wage,
Tax his bed in which he lays.
Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,
T ax his shirts,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.

Tax his booze,
Tax his beers,
If he cries,
Tax his tears.

Tax his bills,
Tax his gas,
Tax his notes,
Tax his cash.

Tax him good and let him know that after taxes, he has no dough.

If he hollers, Tax him more, tax him until he's good and sore.

Tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in which he lays.
Put these words upon his tomb, "Taxes drove me to my doom!"

And when he's gone, We won't relax, We'll still be after the inheritance TAX!!

This is how those government handouts get paid for, YOU! EVERYTHING YOU DO!

OOOOOOH look out big scary taxes are not getting cut this year!!!! Wake up people, taxes are necessary to keep our country functioning. If you think our taxes are bad try just about any other industrial nation on earth. Granted there is waste in government but that's because we have let gov. get too big and bureaucratic. There are certain things that need to be fixed in this state if we want our economy to improve and many of those things take taxes, since the wealthy in Utah are not kindly donating to fix them - roads, schools, health care, general infrastructure, etc.
