In the old design it kept track of the number of posts made by registered members. I noticed that it has reset all those numbers for everyone. Why did they decide to do that?

One more quick note about a problem I've noticed. In the forum, when there is a thread of people replying to each other, there's no separation between each of the posts. You can't tell where one person's post starts and stops. When there's 4 or 5 different replies, it looks like one large post.

Thanks, the perfect avitar...frankly, I have was mistaken for Jerry prior to his death and now I get comments on a regular basis wondering if I am the reincarnation Jerry Garcia.
BTW: I am a very good quitar player...but I can't sing worth a damn.

I have a question for the moderators. What does it take for a post to get deleted from the forum? I know of one poster who when ever challenge concerning his beliefs responses in a very personal manner attacking in rude and uncalled for ways. Yet when I have reported him, nothing is done. Yet you have removed some of mine past and for the ones you have removed I think I understand why. Why do some get away with more abuse then others? Any chance of you posting a guidelines page? Dana
I agree... if we have a set of guidelines, then we all know ahead of time what is and isn't acceptable, and when someone has crossed that line. A set of guidelines would be helpful.

I really liked seeing the section on the front page of the old design that showed and linked the last 5 comments that were made in the forum. Any plans of bringing that option to this new design?
Yes that is in the works. The front page will actually be changing quite a bit ... well maybe not that much. The general idea for the front index page is that it will act primarily as a promo page. The poll will be back as well as last commented articles. My vision is that the front will be very dynamic and pull various parts of the site at different times during the day to maximize exposure to all sections of the site.

i will look into that. i'm not sure we'll be able to fix it. assuming there are nested quotes it shouldn't be a problem.
