Oh, and one more thing. It looks like some people are still able to post comments while being anonymous. Here's just one example of such a comment: http://www.heraldextra.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,/topic,131.72

The anonymous posts are comments brought in from the old system and are dated before the new site's launch. Glad you like the redesign.

Although it will take some getting used to, the new design seems to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. The front page is a little plain and bare compared to the older design, but fine otherwise. A problem I am having is everytime I click on the "preview" link (posting a message), nothing happens.

Another question I have is the font size in the articles is very large. The font size on the home page is fine, but after I open an article it's huge. Is there a way to change the size?

The best part is that the trolls now have to be registered. NO....actually that is the second best part. The best part is that comments are now posted instantly. That was such a frustration with the old system. Conversation was near impossible when no one got around to approving the comments until sometime late in the afternoon (if at all!).

I too was a little dismayed to find my email address posted for everyone to see. I'm glad to hear that they are all being set to hidden.

Other than that, this format will take a few days to get used to. By the way, what is the karma rating? :-

I like it...my real name was on it for a few moments after the download, but I was able to get it fixed pretty quick. I am hopeful no one saw it, I am fairly well known in Utah County.

I really, really, like registration and instant posting for everyone. Just a note to Pitakkos and others concerned about email..I just created an email account that I seldom use that I don't give out except in these situations so if I receive personal emails from anyone from this forum, they won't interfere with my family, personal, or work emial accounts.

We are aware of this, and will be doing our best to resolve it as soon as possible. In the meantime, there are new features to modify your comment after its been posted, and it does work as expected.

Are you using Internet Explorer? We've noticed some inconsistancies depending on which web browser is being used and we greatly appreciate feedback. Honestly though, the site is designed with Mozilla's Firefox in mind. We do our best to make it as compatible with other web browsers as we can. I'll look into the font size issue you've mentioned, and thanks again for letting us know.

Yes, I am using IE for the browser. The font size is normal throughout the site. The only place it's so large is when I open an article.

One more question, what are the karma ratings and how are they raised/lowered?
