The amazing Senator Obama.

After giving that flawed-at-core race speech where he dissed his grandma he is now trying to justify it by referring to his grandma as a "typical white person."

Obama: Grandma 'Typical White Person' Fearing Everyone She Doesn't Know
By Noel Sheppard | March 20, 2008 - 14:22 ET

It seems the more Barack Obama tries to explain the peculiar statement he made Tuesday concerning his white grandmother's "fear of black men who passed by her on the street," the more he's assuring attention regarding the matter.

Though it remains to be seen how much focus a media clearly looking to move beyond this subject will devote to it, Obama called into a Philadelphia sports radio station on Thursday making comments that, if publicized, might get him in even more trouble with white voters.

As transcribed by Breitbart moments ago (audio available here):

The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. But she is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know. . .there's a reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way.

Wow. Is this really how a "typical white person" behaves? Shame on me for being so cordial all these years to folks I didn't know.

Regardless of my seeming ignorance of how the "typical white person" is supposed to behave around strangers, one wonders if Obama's declaration will be the subject of great debate and discussion by press members in the next 24 hours, or if it will be ignored by media desperately looking to get off this topic for the junior senator's sake?

Stay tuned.

You've got to wonder what planet the Senator lives on. He lives in his 1.6 million dollar home next to his slum lord friend Rezko, who bought the property next door to him, and passes harsh judgment on his White grandma.

Obama had multiple land dealings regarding Rezko. Obama and his supporters answer a question about a particular land deal by bringing up details about a different land deal. This is how they try to kill the REZKO scandal - distract, distort, deflect. But they never answer directly.

I. Obama/REZKO land dealings benefitting REZKO:

Both as part time State Senator and part time lawyer, Obama helped his friend of 17 years, REZKO, obtain tens of millions of dollars in government subsidies. There are many of these land deals.

At the Chicago political machine law firm where Obama worked, Obama helped pump tens of millions of government subsidy monies to the REZKO company called REZMAR. [This video explains some of these Obama/REZKO deals HERE.]

As State Senator, Obama, in his official capacity, also helped pump tens of millions of more dollars to REZKO. [Obama denied doing âfavorsâ for REZKO as a state senator but this video proves that too was an Obama lie HERE]

II. Obama/REZKO land dealings benefitting Obama:

Obama received many contributions from REZKO and even more money from contributions raised by REZKO for all of Obamaâs political campaigns (the failed congressional race, the state senate race, the U.S. Senate race). But the biggest personal benefit Obama received from REZKO, that we know of, is the big house Obama lives in today.

Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004. Obama and Michelle owned a condominum at that time but now that Obama was a U.S. Senator they wanted to move to a big house. Obama could not afford the big house he wanted. The house cost $2,305,000. However, in 2005 Obama bought the house he could not afford. Here is how Obama bought a house he could not afford:

Step 1 - Obama talked the doctor selling the house into selling the house and the houseâs side yard separately. There would be two separate buyers of the single property - both purchasing the property on the same day.

Step 2 - Obama had previously asked his friend REZKO to buy the side yard of the house. REZKO was doing financially well at this point.

Step 3 - Obama purchased the land with the house on it. REZKO, probably to hide his involvement in this land deal and protect Obama, had his wife Rita purchase the side yard. Both purchases of the single property closed on the same day.

Result - Obama got a $300,000 discount on the much more valuable property on which the house stood. REZKOâs wife, Rita, purchased the side yard for full price. After the deal, Obama paid for mowing of his front lawn as well as REZKOâs yard.

The math is this: Obama gets a $300,000 discount and pays $1,605,000 for his house; REZKOâs wife buys the yard at full price for the undeveloped, less valuable side yard for $625,000. Obama gets a $2,305,000 house for $1,605,000. âProfitâ to Obama = $925,000.

III. Obama/REZKO land deal benefitting REZKO:

By 2006 Obama and REZKO had reversed fortunes. Obama was a U.S. Senator peddling books (his latest autobiography chock full of âcompositeâ characters and made up situations). Obamaâs wife, Michelle, had fortuitously received all sorts of financial benefits from her new found status as wife of a U.S. Senator - including a promotion and a $316,962 salary from the hospital she worked at. REZKO was in financial difficulty and it was reported that REZKO was about to be indicted.

Obama came to the REZKO rescue. REZKO, Obamaâs friend, slumlord and Chicago fixer was in trouble. Money was drying up and Patrick Fitzgerald was on his tail. REZKO needed money. The cash flushed Obama obliged. Obama offered to buy some of the REZKO-owned side yard.

The 10 feet of land Obama decided to purchase from REZKO was appraised at $40,000. Obama paid the financially troubled REZKO $104,500. Shortly thereafter, REZKO was indicted by âScooterâ Libby prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald on charges including Bribes, Kickbacks, and Extortion.

Why Obama rescued REZKO remains a mystery. Why would an up and coming Chicago politician risk his political future for a slumlord about to be indicted remains a question. Obama supporters will no doubt burn incense and declare Obama a great humanitarian and friend. Impartial observers, and prosecutors, might suspect this transaction was âhush moneyâ. âHush moneyâ talks real loudly in Chicago.

You are babbling on, SR. No one is reading that crap. Folks have already made up their minds about it, and most Americans just shrug it, and writings like yours, as mindless babble.

I think McCain beat Obama on the merits of the election, and not on a smear campaign such as you are trying to do above.

Act more honorably, please.

On the first, neither Scooter Libby, Bush, Cheney or their cabinet lied.
Scooter Libby is a convicted felon, convicted of perjury (hint: perjury means lying under oath) and obstruction of justice by a jury of his peers in a United States Federal Court. As for Bush, Cheney, and his cabinet, just where are those ties of Saddam to 9/11 that they told us about before the war? An before you answer, here is Bush himself later admitting that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Not what was being said before we attacked, though, was it?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwbFzCvvSns

Also, regarding those elusive WMD's, here is Cheney:

On August 26, 2002, in an address to the national convention of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Cheney flatly declared: "Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies, and against us."

http://www.publicintegrity.org/WarCard/

Where is the evidence of WMD's? Without it, Cheney lied.

On the second, the Jihadists and al Qaeda were responsible for the Iraqi deaths. Our troops were responsible for ridding them of a fascist murderer-executioner Saddam and liberating them.
Statistics please. I will be looking for the number of Iraqi civilians killed by al Qaeda versus those killed in Sunni and Shiite sectarian civil war. No rumors or innuendo, please. And tell us RushReader, did Bush and Cheney foresee a sectarian civil war after Saddam was taken out? They should have. Cheney even predicted as much in 1994. I believe he said "quagmire" when discussing what would happen if Saddam was taken out.

On the third, since Hillary Clinton is an abomination and Obama is the apocalypse we conservatives have no alternative.
Boy, I can really see you don't hate them.

We will support the nominee of the GOP and continue to push for the things we genuinely believe in. As I have already said we are with McCain on the War against Jihadism.
I see. Then you were lying too?

A real man of you word, you are.

Hmmm. That might take all the fun out of it.

NOT!

There are many articles about this Obama-Rezko connection. You are unlikely to hear about it from the Liberal media though. It is important for voters to understand how it adds to Obama's lack of judgment and past shady dealings.

Ah, but if you are a Liberal rockstar you get a free pass by the all-adoring Liberal media who have already crowned their candidate-without-scrutiny.

Obama's Rezko ties deeper than land deal

December 23, 2006Recommend

BY FRANK MAIN Staff Reporter
In addition to a land deal, Sen. Barack Obamaâs ties to indicted dealmaker Antoin âTonyâ Rezko include an internship the senator provided the son of a contributor at the request of Rezko, an Obama spokesman confirmed today.

John Aramanda served as an intern for Obama for about a month in 2005, said Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs. His father is Joseph Aramanda, a Rezko business associate who was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal corruption case against Rezko. Aramanda has contributed $11,500 to Obama since 2000, Gibbs said.

âMr. Rezko did provide a recommendation for John Aramanda,â Gibbs said. âI think that itâs fairly obvious that a few-week internship is not of anything of benefit to Mr. Rezko or any of his businesses.â

The revelation of the internship comes after Obama acknowledged a mistake in buying property from Rezko in January 2006 â a deal that enlarged the senatorâs yard in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side. The transaction occurred at a time when it was widely known Rezko was under investigation by the U.S. attorneyâs office.

âIt was a mistake to have been engaged with him at all in this or any other personal business dealing that would allow him, or anyone else, to believe that he had done me a favor,â Obama â a likely presidential candidate â told the Sun-Times in November.

Rezko was indicted in October for allegedly trying to collect nearly $6 million in kickbacks from government deals and trying to shake down a Hollywood producer for $1.5 million in campaign contributions to Gov. Blagojevich.

Obama and Rezko have been friends since 1990, and the Wilmette businessman has raised as much as $60,000 in campaign contributions for him.

After Rezkoâs indictment, Obama donated $11,500 to charity â the amount Rezko contributed to the senatorâs federal campaign fund.

Gibbs said he did not know whether Obama was considering returning any contributions from Aramanda given his alleged role in the federal corruption cases against Rezko and former Teachers Retirement System board member Stuart Levine.

Aramanda is identified as âIndividual Dâ in Rezkoâs indictment. And when Levine pleaded guilty in October, Aramanda again was listed as âIndividual D.â

Aramanda was identified by the Sun-Times as âIndividual D,â who allegedly received a $250,000 kickback tied to a scheme to steer lucrative state pension deals to firms and consultants that donated to Blagojevich. Aramanda is not specifically named or charged with criminal wrongdoing in the court papers. He could not be reached for comment Saturday.

Aramanda has contributed $11,500 to Obama's campaigns since 2000, Gibbs said. He gave $1,000 toward Obamaâs run for Congress against Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Chicago) in 2000; $500 to Obamaâs Senate campaign in 2003 and $10,000 to his Senate campaign in 2004, Gibbs said.

Gibbs said John Aramanda served in Obamaâs Capitol Hill office from July 20 to Aug. 26, 2005, during which he received an $804 cost-of-living stipend. Aramanda was one of nearly 100 interns who worked for Obama in 2005, Gibbs said.

I've never thought too highly of men who would knowingly harass or belittle a woman for voicing her opinion.

It would be nice if EVERYONE would try to behave a little more courteously on this forum and leave off with the derisive remarks...even if there is disagreement on religious or political issues.

Because there will always be disagreement on these issues.
