Thank you for your comment Thomas. I have both Democrats and Republicans in my family tree. When I was a little boy, it always bothered me quite a bit to hear the relatives get into their inevitable arguments and bickering over politics.

I remember asking my mother if those relatives had stopped loving each other. She put her arms around me and explained that sometimes, when people were very passionate in their beliefs...they tended to forget that everyone else had the right to their beliefs and opinions as well.

She explained that this didn't mean that they stopped loving each other...only that they were very passionate in their political beliefs.

All I cared about was hearing that they had not stopped loving one another.

My mother was a very wise woman.

I believe that Leonardo might be very young indeed...and has much to learn about life, and human nature.

Some of you people are very mean. God knows the differnce between a little white lie in order to protect someone vs a whopper like the Democrats tell in order to get power. This Obama person is lying because he wants to steal power from the Republicans. He is only protecting himself. He knew what his preacherman was saying but he is lying about it to save his own skin.

This forum CAN and DOES get mean...but thus far...people have gone pretty easy on you.

God does not differentiate between lies and degrees of lies. It is written that a man can be known not only through his actions...but by his words.

You are only lying to yourself if you believe that little white lies are acceptable to the Lord.

Then 'this Obama person' is no different than Abraham...who also lied to save his own skin.

Obama is lying for political power. Abraham lied to protect his wife. Which one is more noble?
