Alright Roger...according to that site, Rezko donated approximately $8,000.00 to George W.Bush.

And he donated approximately 13,000.00 to Obama.

I got curious and rooted around a bit. Here's what I found.

Obama has already divested more than $44,000.00 in Rezco affiliated donations...and plans to donate an additional $40,350 in Rezco affiliated donations to various charities.

This shows a bit of a discrepancy in the site you provided.

That search was only direct campaign contributions. I did not take the time to search for soft money since this swift-boat job appears to be a non-story to me. The soft money is probably the "discrepancy."

If you want to go hunting for the soft money trail, I wish you good luck, you're gonna need it. You're getting into the dark underbelly of campaign financing and I, for one, wish it that it wasn't an available means for any candidate. Soft money contributions get really murky as to intent, purpose, and how much control the candidate has over the PAC's actions, if any at all.

Ah. As if we all didn't know that corruption in politics is alive and well.

Mitt Romney ran an above-board campaign though. If any personal contribution was above $300 he required that a form be signed by the individual contributor. Also, most individual contributors are well aware of the limit to the amount that can be contributed to any one candidate. Honest people will stay to that limit ($1200) not only for their own personal integrity but also so as not to taint their preferred candidate in any way.

Obama's dealings with Rezko were extremely questionable. More will definitely come out in Rezko's indictment, which has been given almost no mention by the Liberal media, where he is said to be the "political candidate".

By the way, Obama's house cost $1.6 million, minus the strip of land next to it that was bought by Rita Rezko. It's interesting that there is another $1.6 million dollar 10,340-square-foot, four-bedroom home being built in Suburban Chicago as we speak. Guess who it's being built for? The Rev. Jeremiah Wright-is-Wrong, no less. Ah, yes. The man who criticizes the "little" people for too much materialism has another standard for himself. He puts himself on a pedestal and looks down his nose at the rest of us, as if we the "little" people need his divisive hypocritical preaching.

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright will be living in luxury, born of his divisive rantings damning America over 20 years. He certainly knew what he was doing, didn't he? And, so does the amazing Obama. Candidate-without-scrutiny.

Talking about dollars.

It's interesting that John McCain was carrying his own suitcases and almost out of the campaign not too long ago. (Who can forget that solitary image of him lumbering through the airport with that smile on his face talking to the one or two reporters who were still covering him?) Yet he won the nomination of the Republican party. Although he wasn't my preferred candidate, that is to be admired. For sure. The man must have really wanted it.

It made me give him a second look. Under his calm exterior there's a fire burning that's not yet out. He can still move people. And, despite the fierce competition, there was no mistaking that Mitt Romney respected the man.

I'm sure, though, that the Liberal media will find a way to tear the man apart after the Democratic chaos is all over. They set him up only to tear him down. Chew him up, and spit him out. Ah. But hasn't John McCain endured far more than that at the hands of the enemy, and met his maker a time or two in the bargain?

Meanwhile, Dean the Scream is urging the Democratic delegates to declare who they will support. To end the chaos. Of course, we all know who Dean supports, don't we?

To the account auditors of SilentReader's employers:

I want McCain to win, and I assure that SR makes voters for the Democrats at every posting.

No one bothers to read her seriously, not for a ver long time. The writings are often plagiarisms, distortions, and filled with undisguisable swiftboating.

SR's record of proven failure of neo-conism plus the linkage to the Bush Administration has created in your writer an unrecoverable liability to the McCain campaign.

Because his campaign was almost broke.

Yet he won the nomination of the Republican party.
Yup. The best of the "three blind mice" who can't see what is going on in Iraq.

Although he wasn't my preferred candidate.
An understatement of galactic proportions. What was it you said? Oh, here it is:

You did say it. Another "RushReader" classic.

It made me give him a second look.
Desperation will do that. BTW, I warned you not to put all of your eggs in the Mitt basket.

Under his calm exterior there's a fire burning that's not yet out.
That's just the early signs of senility.

He can still move people.
Uh-huh. If he has his way, he'll have us moving US Troops to Iraq for another 100 years.

And, despite the fierce competition, there was no mistaking that Mitt Romney respected the man.
Just another in a long, long, line of Romney flip-flops.

Oh, one more thing. There is a rumor you are female. If that is true, then this is for you.
