Geeez . . . why can't DWR keep their animals under control?

Wow, big shock this happened. The attacking Lawyers that is, not the bears...

While it is infinitely sad that a little boy lost his life...it should come to no surprise to anyone with half a brain that bears visit campgrounds.

I see no reason to expect the tax-payers to foot the bill for this lawsuit.

Here's a suggestion for those who do not understand that wildlife abounds in campgrounds.

If you are looking to avoid bears...camp in your own fenced backyard.

I wonder how the three of you would feel if it had been your son dragged out of his tent and mauled and eaten alive. The bear had been recently sighted, was known to have been a nuisance, they should have posted a warning. It would seem to me that it was more than just a random possibility that one would expect when camping in the wilderness.

BTW, lawyers are making an honest living. They would not be there if it weren't for the many people needing representation for a myriad of reasons. But, I know it is seen as cool to bash lawyers. Some people bash others because of race, sex, color, or religion. Gives them something to do, I guess.

I'd feel horrible . . . probably feel like I wouldn't want to go on living.

But, I don't expect a government agency to post warnings to tell me that there might be bears, mountain lions, rattlesnakes, etc. somewhere in the forest. I always camp under the assumption that wild animals inhabit the forest and are likely to wander through my campsite.
