After reading through all of these comments about this I came up with a great idea. Since these morons think it is somehow someone elses fault/responsibility that a bear ate their son and they should now be compensated for it, maybe the Govt should file a countersuit against them for giving the Bear severe indigestion??? I mean...someone has to be looking out for the bears rights too!!!

Sorry brighteye...but my idea for a lawsuit is just as rediculous as the parents lawsuit is in the first place. If they were at the zoo and a bear had gotten out of his cage...then fine...I can see the point. But this is in the mountains and a wild animal....no one is responsible for that damn animal. This is a frivolous lawsuit and it will most likely be thrown out of court by any judge worth his salt.
