They get married in a temple, and their is rules to enter, so yes, they all have similar rules as Mormons.

I just checked with my Jewish friend and asked him directly about non Jewish friends or family, and if they are invited to the weddings. He was almost surprised at the question, "Of course...marriage is all about the family!"

The culture I came from before I joined the LDS Church was one where everyone, from both sides of the family were permitted. I've been to numerous non-LDS Christian weddings. When I joined the LDS Church, the idea of excluding family members wasn't brought up at all. I didn't discovered that until just before my own wedding. Seems that something this important should be brought up during the missionary discussions.

I had asked him what his thought was about not permitting family to attend the wedding of a child and he didn't realize the LDS Church was so strict.

I'm going to check on the Hindus and Buddhists, and Muslims just to see about this recent comment.

There was a good quote today at church that reminded me of Liferocks, it is that those who are sinning find fault in everything, not just religion, but everthing in their lives. I find this to be true.
