This thread discusses the Content article: First meeting of iProvo committee reveals bleak outlook

I think the iProvo retailers - MStar, Nuvont, and Verocity - are weak and can't compete against Comcast and Qwest/DirecTV.

The vast majority of "New" subscribers to iProvo will have to come from switching users off of Comcast and Qwest... and why exactly should customers do this?

What is the benefit for a customer to switch?

Where are the marketing campaigns to entice customers to switch?

Geez man, I TRIED to switch - the call backs from these retailers (I couldn't get through to talk to anyone one live) didn't happen or didn't offer me ANY benefit... besides "your internet will be faster"... what a joke - my internet is fast now.

Why aren't people jumping on iProvo... because it offers no benefit over what they have... and Provo needs a committee of politicos and bankers to figure this out????
