I wasn't planning to post any more on this subject here, but something came up.

For those who may be wondering, I checked with a woman in a comparative world religion class who is Muslim and asked her, "If you were getting married as a Muslim to another Muslim and wanted to invite a non-Muslim, could they attend your wedding."

To which she replied, "Why yes, of course."

So I've talked to a Jew, a Hindu, a Buddhist and Muslim and all say non-members are permitted to attend their weddings...except for the Mormon Temple wedding.

Hmmmmmm.

Welcome back, LifeRocks. Of course they would invite non-members to their weddings because it is permitted in their religions. Every religion has their own unique qualifications. We're not like everyone else.

Isn't that the truth!!!

as soon as you learn about the Mormons special underwear you know they are different "LOL"

Let alone the cloths they wear in the temple.

(NOTE) if anyone seen the picture I posted of the Temple garments I apologize for posting them the way I did, I got a little over zealous and I feel I should have never mocked others sacrad stuff

I'm sorry he isn't going to stick around. We need more genuine people on this forum.

Jaye's definintion of Genuine=Likes to bash the LDS faith.

My definition of genuine = pretty much anyone who possesses the ability to think for himself without looking to his/her Bishop, or Church publications, or Church Headquarters in SLC, anyone who doesn't claim to act differently than he/she does on this forum, anyone who possess the ability to comprehend that God and His Holy Angels don't turn their backs, lay down the records and 'silent notes' they are taking, and go on a coffee break while you are posting on this forum...and ANYBODY who doesn't profess to be a former Bishop and a current High Priest and use the kind of crass language that YOU do.

While this holds very true in this country...it isn't always true in other countries.

My ignore list... The The The The Betz, Kitcat, and the blonde. They have nothing of substance to say anyway, but just like to add smarmy comments to the conversations, so why bother with the the constant smariness?

Wren would like to think he's ignoring me, but he can't, won't and will not.
