As for leaving this alone...I'd love to leave this alone. I'd love to move on with my life. Unfortunately the Church has such a hold on my wife and children I can't get away from it. Several hours on Sunday...Monday through Friday seminary...meetings for the young men and women...and all the additional activities...at every meal. It never ends.

You are right about one thing though...it is time for me to move on. I don't have much of a place in my own family anymore and I'm tired of being angry with all this.

I just didn't see the train coming.

When you finish with the pity party...try to remember that your children are only adhering to the religious path that YOU set them on.

As for not seeing the train coming...I've gotta call B.S. here. All of the years you were a member of the LDS Church should have prepared you for this eventuality should you leave the faith.

Try to grant your wife and your children the right to worship the Lord as they see fit. They have their beliefs, and the right to those beliefs...even if your own personal belief has fled.

Are you intending to separate from your wife and family...if you haven't already done so?

One more thing to consider Life Rocks...is it really so bad a thing that your children are involved in Church activities all week?

There are a LOT worse things they could be occupying their time with, you know.

Monday through Friday seminary is from 6 AM to 7am and typically students car pool, so how does this affect YOU? How does there meetings affect YOU? Sounds like most of your kids are older, they have their own lives in the church, this doesn't affect you one bit. Your really are grasping and silly things now to complain about things that don't really affect you at all, you can sleep in while they are learning the gospel in seminary, stop whining and just get your sleep. You know, if you would have stayed with your orginal point, you may have had some better luck here, most agree that maybe there could be something the LDS church could do to help those who can't enter the temple, but for you to move onto the silly stuff that really doesn't affect you, and the anti Mormon agenda you have hinted you have, that's where you lost most of us.

Here's some tough love words for you bro. I've heard both sides of the story now, know a little about what you have been like since deicing to leave the church, is it worth it? You happier now? You are bitter, angry, not fun to be around, and are annoying the crap out of all of your wife and children to the point that you are almost impossible to live with. Is it worth it? Are you happier now? Get the light of Christ and the Holy Ghost back in your life before it's too late, Your going down a path that will only lead to misery, do something about it.

Dubbs, let's use your own words. You are bitter, angry, not fun to be around, and are annoying the crap out of all of the forum members to the point that you are almost impossible to be around. Is it worth it?

Follow you own advice: Get the light of Christ and the Holy Ghost into your life before it's too late. Since you cannot separate your internal life here from your life "there", now is the time to stop and correct it.

As I've said many times, in real life I am not like I am here, I have a wife and three wonderful kids who love me, and can't stand for me to be away.

If Liferocks doesn't get his spiritual act together, he will lose all that is precious to him. IMO.(maybe he doesn't care anymore as he is "past feeling) He doesn't know what miserable is yet, he will if he doesn't turn his life around and get back to the Gospel.
