Don't be so arrogant. The man said he no longer believes, so it isn't a case of "getting temple worthy".

The things you say are just incredibly ignorant.

LifeRocks, you had to know the day would come when your children would want to be married in the temple. Did you expect them to postpone their sealing (their heart's desire) to accommodate you? As a "good dad", you should encourage them to fulfill their dream of being eternally sealed on their terms and time table, not yours. You may think I'm being cold-hearted about this, but I'm sure you remember the temple is a sacred place, a place not open to the general public. The sacredness would be diminished, yes, even completely lost, if anyone off the street could enter and participate. I doubt very seriously that the "entrance fee" to the temple (living the commandments and keeping covenants) is going to change. And, in other countries, the reasoning behind civil marriage first, then the temple sealing second is because those countries do not recognize a temple marriage as legally binding.

I can tell you are very angry about this exclusion; however, even as a "good dad", your "temple ready" children do not "owe" you for your 25 years of service. If anything, you should be proud of the decisions your children have made and pat yourself on the back for raising exceptional children.

It's a matter or prayer and study, not studying the anti's nonsense, get back with the spirit, and the truth, he'll be ok. That stuff confuses even the elect, he just needs a push to get back on track.

Probably a little repenting needs to happen also, he knows what I mean.

LifeRocks, I just reread your last post. You said you "chose to leave" the church. Respectfully, are you inactive or excommunicated?

Yea, I guess for the IQ you have that would be hard to see. rolleyes

She asked it nicely. You say things more like "why didn't you get yourself temple ready" and then throw in a stupid mocking smiley. The manner in which you ask means alot.

Still mocking my IQ and feeble mind, are you? When are you going to acknowledge that I knew Virtuous' name and you did not. I hope when you're my age, you have only half the memory I do. If so, you'll be in good shape.

I suggest you knock off the insults. Payback can be a bitch. And just so you don't misunderstand, that is not a threat. I believe in karma.

That's you and Betz problem, you think I'm saying things in a mocking tone when I'm not, it was a legit question asked in a way without smileys or roll of eyes. You completly misread it, which is very typical.

Actually, what my disgust for you in regards to this question comes from past discussions where you denied saying this exact same thing. You really should remember the crap that you post instead of leaving it up to everyone else to remind you of the garbage you spew.

Words for Dubbs from an apostle: "More regrettable than the [LDS] Church being accused of not being Christian is when church members react to such accusations in an un-Christlike way," Apostle Robert D. Hales said on the second day of the two-day conference. "Surely our Heavenly Father is saddened - and the devil laughs - when we contentiously debate doctrinal differences with our Christian neighbors."

Good God . . . is there no end to your arrogance. You do know that pride is one of the seven deadly sins.
