I am a pretty normal LDS man, some would say I'm a TBM, some would say that I am a guy who is somewhat liberal TBM.

I like to have fun and have a great wife and 3 kids, I like to discuss religion and more specifically, the history and issues dealing with my faith, the LDS faith.

In real life away from this site I'm known as a guy who is quite shy and doesn't say much to people unless they ask me a question and seem sincere, I will discuss religion with them and my beliefs. I am not really the same in real life as a portray here, as I find the disrepect here dispicable, and return it in kind to show that there is an answer to the anti agenda here. I found nobody really defending the faith at all. Some find me abrasive, and I agree, I can be. Right or wrong, that is for me to deal with my Savior on. But I also have had many emails and PM"s from people who have said they appreciate my sticking up for the church, including our own Kitkat, although she will dney it. I live in an area that has alot of "born again Christian" type bible thumping people that say I'm not christian and am going to burn in hell. This may have turned me off long ago to their style of "religion", as did many experiences with their type on my mission, including being shoved out the door of one preachers church, after a member of his congregation invited us in.

I came to this site kinda by accident because I went to school in Provo and like to keep up on the news in the area. I noticed that there was a lot of Mormon bashing going on on this site and saw some pretty mean, bitter people here that I thought was sad that they spent their days bashing a religion. I decided to come on the site and do what they do to my religion, to them, to show them that it is really a silly thing to do, and show them that there faith can be "poked fun at and mocked" as well.

I think now I just do it for entertainment with a few posters here who like to needle me, it is kinda fun to joust with them, and I find it entertaining.

That's about me in a nutshell. Or at least as much as I'd like to share in a blog.

Dubbs, I've sat here for the longest time trying to think of what to say. I'm at a loss. I've had my share of misunderstandings here. And I certainly haven't been the nicest at times. But I do take those times to heart and try to understand other people and myself better. I know I've fallen short with this many times. But your attitude seems to only make you more bitter. That bitterness seems to bring more mockery towards the LDS Faith, not less. And a whole lot less understanding and confusion about the LDS Faith.

We all have our weakness, stick around long enough, someone will find yours Thomas. As the LDS haters have found fault in even Bearyb, calling him a evil person. Happens to all of us at one time or another. You just added to the name calling.

I am not going anywhere. He wants me to go because I defeat his arguments every time. He has never won anything but contempt from everyone. He hates Jaye because Jaye confounds him. KitKat just gets under his skin.

Want to go back and find where any of us called Bearyb "evil"? I have not been happy with his approach at times. The last two months I have appreciated his balanced approach and have found his comments to be interesting and informative.

You should pattern yourself on him, Dubbs. But I don't know if you can do anything now to redeem your reputation here among active LDS as well as others.
