Here we have great news where a minion of Osama is sent to his reward of 72 virgins, and all we get is bashing of the job Bush has done to get the top man. Answer me this, has a U.S. city been nuked since 9/11? By Bush taking the fight to the Muslims of Falujah, they've been unable to form up and do a strike on America.
Of course that doesn't please you, really. You'd like nothing more than to see Columbus go up in a nuke fireball so you could point to Bush and trash him.
You and your "Mission Accomplished" bashing make me sick and makes me wonder who I could report you to. You probably have an "Obama the Magic Black Man" sign in your yard. Another question for you, wasn't the Mission to Kill Saddam Accomplished? That is Mission Accomplished. Saddam won't gas the Kurds, he won't drop a nuke on Jerusalem. He won't invade Kuwait or Ryhdad. Sounds like Mission Accomplished to me, you Liberal Freak!!!!
Pull your head out of your shorts and see the good that has happened in this nation since Fatso and the Devil With the Blue Dress have been kicked out of office.
I took 8 years for Al-Qaeda to hit the US again (93-01). Not having had an attack yet is not an indicator of progress. The Muslim world is significantly more up in arms about the US now than they were before. Al Qaeda was not in Iraq until we invaded. In fact, they are alive and well regrouped in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Sudan.
As for Mission Accomplished, killing Saddam left a vacuum of power now being filled by Iran. Saddam provided a buffer to Iran. He could not gas Kurds anymore as he had no more gas shells, and he had no nuclear capabilities. Therefore, Saddam was no threat to anyone. His military was devastated in the 1st Gulf War, so he had no ability to invade anyone.
Show me the good that has happened. We are 750 million dollars in debt to China, 9 trillion in national debt, lost 4000 servicemen with another 30000 wounded, gas prices are at their worst ever (adjusted for inflation), and middle class wages have been mostly flatlined for 6 years. Furthermore, China now owns a large portion of Bank of America, Countrywide, and Citigroup. We also have traded middle class jobs for low skilled jobs via outsourcing and immigration policies. Have you noticed that Bush's approval rating is at 28%?

Look I went to college, got myself a job, got a house, a family. I have roots. The type who goes into the Army like the vagabond style and like to move.
Those that want to enlist, God Be With Them, but I am a patriot: I pay the taxes that buys them the boots, and hash browns, and F-16s and tanks that they use over there to keep us free of the Muslims. So don't give me that "I have to enlist crap." We all make choices, I made the choice to go to school. They made the choice to join the Army. I pay their wages, so I am a patriot.
The Liberals on this site don't enlist AND don't pay taxes because they are unemployed dolts that are waiting around for their welfare check (which I pay for with my TAXES too, ass!)
That is incredibly insulting to us veterans. Apparently, military people don't have roots and like a "vagabond" style of living. Because you pay their salaries makes you a patriot? I am very against this war, having served 5 tours of duty overseas post-9/11. Does that make me an unemployed dolt waiting for my welfare check who should be grateful because you paid my salary while I was in?
What is insulting is that they let a Leftist Like you in the Army. Did you cringe when you had to salute your superior, yes superior, who had gone to a mil academy and did something with his life instead of sleeping thru HS only to find that the Army was the one place you could get a job that paid OK with a HS diploma (or was it a GED for you.)
Look, the military, God Bless Everyone, attracts a certain crowd. They don't take AP science. They don't go on missions. They sleep thru HS. And many times they do like the vagabond style because they see the world without having to pay to see it. I am glad they like that type of life since it keeps me and my family free, plus keeps gas from being $12.00/gallon because we have a CinC of courage like Bush who has the nuts to go over there and not let Iran or Russia take it all (unlike do nothing Carter, or lets shoot cruise missiles sex fiend Bill.)
You were in the military. Hoooohah! And all that NCIS and JAG crap. Good for you. But that makes you no better of a citizen than us who paid your wages. One question tho, why did you get out? Your Leftist views forced you out?

I pay their wages, so I am a patriot. In my experience, people who are brazen and arrogant enough to proclaim themselves a patriot (or righteous or charitable or any number of other things) are usually far from it. Glad to see you went to college. Nothing said about graduation. More on that in a minute. As for your definition of "patriot", then everyone who pays taxes is a patriot. Even the liberals you despise. Yes, I pay taxes. Lot's of them. In fact, by your logic, the conservatives would be worse patriots, since they never met a tax they liked, and hate paying them. They'd rather not pay taxes at all. Answer me this, has a U.S. city been nuked since 9/11? By Bush taking the fight to the Muslims of Falujah, they've been unable to form up and do a strike on America.False logic. I thought you went to college? Must have slept through it, if you did. You infer that the reason we have not been attacked again is because be attacked Iraq. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 in the first place. Osama bin Laden is not Iraqi, and none of the participants of 9/11 were, and Bush, much later, even admitted Saddam had nothing to do with it. But I digress. Let's get back to your crappy logic. Correlation does not mean causation. Just because the batter winks his eye and spits before stepping into the batters box does not mean that is why he hit the home run. True, we have not been attacked again, but we may not have been attacked again had we done noting at all; and the fact that we have not been attacked probably has a lot more to do with the fact that security has been increased and law enforcement agencies are doing a better job of talking to each other that the fact that we attacked a country than had nothing to do with 9/11 in the first place. Oh, and talking about them "forming up", that is just what they (al Qaeda and the Taliban) are doing again in Afghanistan, thanks to Bush and Cheney diverting from Afghanistan, where al Qaeda was, to Iraq, where they weren't. Now they are in both places. Another question for you, wasn't the Mission to Kill Saddam Accomplished? That is Mission Accomplished.A person who attended college like you should be smart enough to do his homework. With that "Mission Accomplished Banner" behind him, Bush said that "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended..." At the time, we had fewer troops in Iraq than we have now and the death toll was about 600. The death toll is now over 4,000. So, is what has happened since (and there is no end in sight) "minor" in your eyes? Is it no longer combat? Look, the military, God Bless Everyone, attracts a certain crowd. They don't take AP science. They don't go on missions. They sleep thru HS.False (and false it is) praise, followed by insult. I wonder what those in the military, current or past, think of you inferring they slept through high school and are vagabonds?

Palintology - An obscure and absurd religion headquartered in Wasilla, AK. Its adherents worship Sarah the Shopper, who knows nothing about foreign policy, believes in witches but not in global warming, and can talk up a storm and gut a moose quicker than you can say "John McCain". The Palintologists look forward to the second coming of Sarah in the republican rapture of 2012, when they believe the mothership will come and take them all to the promised land.

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." - John Kerry http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/31/AR2006103100649.html

I'll ask my son who recently joined the Marine Corp after graduating high school with a 3.8, taking AP Physics, AP History, Honors Chemistry, Honors Trig courses. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of learning what a "good Patriot" truly thinks of him. Yeah, that's really showing support for the troops.

Proud to be a wicked witch and uppity wench.
Words for Dubbs from an apostle: "More regrettable than the [LDS] Church being accused of not being Christian is when church members react to such accusations in an un-Christlike way," Apostle Robert D. Hales said on the second day of the two-day conference. "Surely our Heavenly Father is saddened - and the devil laughs - when we contentiously debate doctrinal differences with our Christian neighbors."
