This thread discusses the Content article: Calif. soldier dies before wedding

Deepest condolences to the family, fiance, and friends of this soldier. We've been seeing this too often lately...soldiers being killed while on their third and fourth tour.

It is a sad state of affairs that this war has gone on long enough for a soldier to even accumulate four tours, and for a military that is stretched so thin that it even allows it.

And still no end in sight.

All truth said was TRUE. No media hype.......
There is NO GOOD REASON, these guys should have to do 3 and 4 tours.....We just lost a young father in my area and it was his 4th tour....BUT his kids have the flag that draped his casket to remember him by........ AND HIS MEDALS.. THANKS PRESIDENT BUSH

My condolences to the family and fiancee and friends also..

NO GOOD REASON? How about this one, perhaps this troops death ensured your grandson someday has to drop to his knees and pray to Mecca five times a day in the future. Is that a GOOD REASON for you?
