Polygamy was indeed against the law in Illinois. For the record, I neither denied nor doubted anything of the kind. I withheld any opinion whatsoever until I could obtain more information about it. Such information has been provided now (several times). Apparently there were laws against it. Also, apparently, the early members of the Church raised some questions as to the constitutionality of such laws - questions that were eventually resolved not in their favor.

So who am I to trust, mortal men, or the spirit of God? I'll go with the latter thanks. You should to.

Isn't it much better since the ignore came down? Life is so much better not having to respond to the three smarmy sisters of negativity, ahhh, it's like a load has been lifted, they never made an intelligent post anyway, so what are we missing? NOTHING!
My ignore list... Betz, Kitkat, and the blonde. They have nothing of substance to say anyway, but just like to add smarmy comments to the conversations, so why bother with the the constant smariness?

Don't be a hypocrite Blonde, although I know you can't help it. Get a life. You claim to be a pretty religious fellow, right? What is it in your faith that says it's okay to run around insulting people?
