Gas tax holiday is a good idea. It allows people to think something was done when nothing was. It offers a golden opportunity for gas suppliers to raise prices to get it back. Saving 18 cents a gallon for a mini-holiday is just a stunning short term, short sighted idea. It does allow me to have a holiday for something. Because I certainly can't drive anywhere for any other holiday.

Or, I know this is a strange idea but just maybe they can stop pandering and try to figure out how we can fix this mess where we know the answer already. Right now the masochistic policy mindset of "No drilling in my backyard" and "Opec controls us" is a tad confusing so lets just take a big ol' holiday!

If Bush and company had been leveling a windfall tax as Clinton did in his term (remember balanced budget?)those funds could have been used to develop the real solution, renewable energy!

Why is it so hard for that bonehead Liar and Chief to figure out...oh that's right he is likely the only oilman to have went bankrupt in the last 100 years. What a failure he has been on all fronts!!!
