This thread discusses the Content article: PC Laptops aids PC Club users

ha ha don't be fooled by their soooooo called help. After T.A. closed their doors this same offer was made. After taking my computer in to be cleaned and have a virus removed, I was told it was out of date and that they would make me a "great trade in offer". I refused and said it had been working just fine and all I wanted was for it to be cleaned up. Then I was told it would be about two weeks to fix. With T.A. it was a 24 hour turn around. All they really want is to get you into their store so their fishermen can get their hooks in you. They care nothing about helping you. Needless to say the next computer I bought was from best buy. Their service isnt as good as T.A.s was, but they dont claim to be either. P.C. laptops are like the liberals, drunks, liers, gays and cheats...

Agree with Woody on this one. PC-Laptops has just suckered the Herald into some great free advertising. No way are they going to give service away for nothing without pressing hard for a sale or upgrade.

Also, you can buy 2-3 laptops elsewhere for the cost of one of their's. How they are still in business is really beyond me.

I'm trying hard to reform, Woody.

This article is erroneous. All PC Clubs are open for business and bankruptcy was never filed. Call your local PC Club or check the website at www.pcclub.com . I'm going to try to find a number to contact the daily herald to get this article pulled, because PC Club is NOT out of business and has NOT filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
