This thread discusses the Content article: Osama: Palestinian cause at heart of holy war

Dear Mr. Bush:

Take a good look at the guy in the photo in the article referenced above. This is the guy we are after. This is the guy who masterminded 9/11. This is the guy who is hiding in Afghanistan or Pakistan, probably moves back and forth between them. This is the guy you should be after. He is not now, nor has he ever been, in Iraq. Is there something about that you just do not understand?

Yes, I know, Saddam was an easier target (even though he had nothing to do with 9/11) and it really bugged you that he may have tried to have your daddy killed. But he was a red herring (have someone look that up for you, since you don't bother to look things up yourself). You took your eye off the ball regarding bin Laden, and went chasing butterflies in Iraq. Besides, personal revenge is not a good character trait for a President to have. One of the many, many, reasons you are such a crappy one.

So how has that worked out? Yes, Saddam is dead, but to what end? The country is in a bigger mess now than it ever was with him, and there is no end in sight. NO...END...IN...SIGHT. Mr. McCain says he believes we can be out of a combat role there by 2013. I guess we could call it a "Five Year Plan." Wait, on second thought, we can't do that, because for it to be called a plan, there would actually have to be a plan. "Stay the course" is not a plan. Never mind. Perhaps Mr. McCain can say he also believes gas will be $1.25 a gallon by 2013 as well. That'll make everyone feel even better.

As for Iran, you are rattling your sabre again. Except your sabre is dull. You have no troops to send to Iran. You know it, I know it, they know it, everyone knows it. Any such "war" against them would consist completely of an air war, and that won't defeat them alone, not even close, and it would be yet another quagmire anyway. Haven't you learned your lesson in Iraq? Are you that dense? And let's not forget, Iran had a natural enemy who kept them in check. His name was Saddam. Oops.

One parting bit of advice, Mr. Bush. Please start playing golf again. Lots and lots and lots of golf. You are less dangerous that way.

Ok Truthhurts do you really expect Bush to go after his dads friends,
Shafiq bin Laden and the Bush family are investors in the Carlyle Group,
remember former President George H. W. Bush attended an investment meeting at the Washington, D.C. Ritz-Carlton hotel on September 10, 2001 and in particular he had a meeting with Shafiq bin Laden, representing joint interests of the Saudi Binladin Group and Carlyle.

The bin Laden family also owns part of Microsoft and Boeing.

I agree with that. And are we to go from a Texas-Justice Republican to a short-fused, explicative cursing Arizona Republican?

We should keep in mind that the President has two faces: one he directs at the American people and the other he directs to the rest of the world.

In today's global society, Obama is the best compromise, hands down.
