Imagine that.
I started a new thread on it. Enjoy.

Yes that's true. They have recently refused an agreement to have a permanent military base in Iraq. Frankly, I think that is a good sign.
In my opinion, that is the way it should be.
BTW, this isn't new news. The part about refusing to allow us to build new bases might be old news, but the part about the withdrawl timetables just hit the wire today. Perhaps we should get our news from "Associated Thomas" in the future, instead of "Associated Press". In fact, it is on the front page, lead article, on The Washington Post right now. You must have stumped them too. http://www.washingtonpost.com/Why don't you drop the Editor of The Washington Post a line and ask him why he has "old news" on the front page? Nevertheless, I am glad you think it is a good sign. I'll certainly be interested in your response when Bush (and McCain) say "No withdrawl timetables...we'll leave when WE are ready, not when you want us to" or something to that effect.

Posted from my Blackberry, which John McCain's campaign staff said he helped create. It was actually invented in Canada, but what the heck. They just can't stop lying.

I bet we will be in Iraq until it is safe for us to disengage. A timetable, any timetable, is likely to be a load of BS anyway. Great on paper but improbable in reality - kiinda like the war in that regard, lol.

This timetable jargon is a huge pile of BS. But it sounds good to the kool aid drinkers. Then there is uto uto, he spikes his kool aid with ketchup. I guess that makes it easier for him to swallow.
