You are ignoring the fact, Dubbs, you accused Jaye of using none or anti-LDS sites and literatue. Jaye merely listed the citations to show you what a simple, childish and foolish statement that was by you.
I stand corrected there, doesn't negate the fact his post had NOTHING To do with the conversation, or any conversation we had in this thread. Just jaye's weirdness coming out.
The fact remains...the conversations on just about every thread usually end up being diverted to discussions about the LDS Church. And these discussions split off into numerous other discussions.
The point remains that there have been discussions as to whether or not the LDS leadership is paid or not...and this due to the Church's long standing and underhanded claims that it's clergy are not paid.
I posted the information in response to the claims of certain Mormons on this forum that the hierarchy of the LDS Church are not paid salaries, and do not receive perks.
And it has not evaded me that you have avoided addressing the article, and instead tried to change and distract the subject by making personal attacks against me.

I know people can pretend to be somethning different on the internet. That is why I have taken the time to get to know several posters better away from this forum. And they are just what they claim to be.
Know you claim you know some outside the site? Riigggghht. After saying many times you had never met anyone here. Hey, Goofy, where did I say "MEET"? I didn't!!!! I said "got to know". That doesn't have to be done face to face. I have gotten to know a couple of posters better AWAY FROM THE FORUM. That does not mean I met them in person. Your reading comprehension STINKS!
Ahh, so more blogging and you are getting to know people? Or emails and you are getting to know them?
Please stop Kitkat, you know NOTHING about them. I'm sorry Kent...but many people do get to know other people pretty well without ever meeting face to face. And don't forget...in the cases of serial rapists and murderers...lifelong friends and relatives have been shocked because they had known the guy all his life, and never dreamed he could be capable of such things. You could know a guy all your life and still not know him. Does this mean we should all keep a high wall around us and never take a chance on meeting people? One of the men I consider to be among the best of my friends is a Canadian colleague I've never met face to face. I've spoken with him on the phone, and we've corresponded via email. You are a very fearful little man. And you are bound and determined that you are not going to act courteously on this forum, because you 'really don't care what any of us think'. But in reality...you really DO care what we think...otherwise you would never spend the HOURS you do online, in discussion and debate with people you will never meet and never befriend.

And I do, on occasion, take my shirt off if it gets hot enough on a parking lot we're paving or sealing.
That's why I don't wear the G's to work. And that's probably why LDS pro-athletes don't wear the G's to work.
Time and place for everything I suppose.
Which brings us to these young Mormon men who posed for the calender.
If they are still currently serving missions...so long as they don't go door to door preaching the gospel without a shirt...who really cares?
I suppose that there are those in the LDS faith who are letter of the law types who even wear their G's while they're having intercourse.
But I've never been a letter of the law kind of guy myself.
Have you?
Depends. If I make a covenant or a promise or a commitment I do my best to keep it. Again, I don't wear garments and haven't been through the temple. My parents have. They almost never remove the garments, it is their belief that they shouldn't be removed unless absolutely necessary. Obviously, there are times that can remove them...I don't think posing in those pictures is one of them. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong.
Do your parents swim or sunbathe?
Oh brother, you are so dense sometimes, you seriously don't understand that their are excpetions, and you think this calender falls in an exception? Wow, amazing.
I've been thinking about this whole topless calender thing and I've decided that.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE ONE WITH WITH THE SISTER MISSIONARIES TO COME OUT.

That's because your a sick minded pervert. This from a dude who liked to post pictures of a naked fat guy. So...what's more perverted? A guy thinking about pictures of topless women? Or a guy who likes to post pictures of naked fat guys?

That is a part of romantic love (in my eyes.) For pure friendship, we do not care when the friend relationship stops to grow and stays at a certain extent for a very long time.
If I see my relationship with Church by the view of friend relationship, I can see those problematic Church policies and practice (ONLY SOME Church policies and practice are problematic) and imagine I am seeing a movie, and I can just give a smile to whatever I see.
If I see my relationship with Church by the view of DATE relationship, I can see those problematic Church policies and practice and think when and how I can have a family and I can give a family to her. A family is a protection, a service, a commitment, etc. to each other. I can wait for a family, when I am not loving the girl so much. When my romantic love for the girl is becoming bigger and bigger, I will find out whether or not we can get married. If yes, both of us started doing something to prepare the marriage/family. If no, do not waste my time, and do not waste your time, and both of us had better find another one who can give us a family (a place suitable for my psychological and spiritual developments). Otherwise, the romantic love is a movie (not a reality). I am a very genuine person, and I do not like anything too virtual.
Dude, just a hint, until you tell us what the sam hell your talking about specifically, notbody even understands enough of your jiberish to even comment.
Oh, and stop with the attempt at parables, Only Christ was good at those, you are not.
The definition of a parable is this:
A parable is a brief, succinct story, in prose or verse, that illustrates a moral or religious lesson. It differs from a fable in that fables use animals, plants, inanimate objects, and forces of nature as actors while parables generally are stories featuring human actors or agents.
Jesus used parables, but Jesus was not the only individual who utilized parables in instruction, nor was He the only individual who was skilled in using parables.
Remember...Jesus was often frustrated by his Disciples frequent inability to decipher the meaning of His parables.
Parables are found within the Quran, and the Hasidic teachings.
Buddha taught utilizing parables.

Betzz wrote: Dubbs wrote: Betzz wrote: [b] You never answered the question I posed when you posted this amusing little quote before . . .
How far in is far enough, in your opinion?
A good guide is they leave the church, come to blogs and bash the church without even understanding the basics of the church, as we have seen from JohntheApostate, and unclebuck here today. Pretty good clue it's happened.
You either don't understand what you were saying in your little quote, or you don't understand my question.
I'll rephrase . . . how far into bed does one have to get before they are out of danger of falling out of the bed?
In for a dime...in for a dollar.
Or at the least...in far and deep enough to not mind getting screwed once in a while without complaining about it.

Perhaps, maybe one day, there may be a chance to meet many of you in person, and talk about some happy things, in order to develop myself, to have a fun time, and to make friends, etc.Now you're cooking with gas. Perhaps that's what you've really been needing the most.
