I even linked it to the Communist News Network so you leftist asses would believe it.

Well, well, well. I can just see them squirming in the White House and the McCain camp tonight.

BERLIN - Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki says U.S. troops should leave Iraq "as soon as possible," according to a magazine report, and he called presidential candidate Barack Obama's suggestion of 16 months "the right timeframe for a withdrawal."

In an interview with Germany's Der Spiegel magazine released Saturday, al-Maliki said he was not seeking to endorse Obama. The Illinois senator and likely Democratic nominee has pledged to withdraw combat troops from Iraq within 16 months if he is elected.

"That, we think, would be the right timeframe for a withdrawal, with the possibility of slight changes," al-Maliki was quoted as saying. "Those who operate on the premise of short time periods in Iraq today are being more realistic. Artificially prolonging the tenure of U.S. troops in Iraq would cause problems.:

Asked when U.S. forces would leave Iraq, he responded, "As soon as possible, as far a we're concerned."

Yup, I'd say the White House and McCain Headquarters isn't full of happy campers tonight.

I bet Cheney is on the verge of another heart attack

Sounds like he's more in agreement with Obama than Bush and. McSame.

Yeah lets give the terrorists a time frame for when we pull out of Iraq so that they don't head over to afghanistan and they just keep on top of Iraqis.
Whatever we don't need to give anyone a darned time frame of when we will be pulling out all of our troops.
For crying out loud we are still in several places and noone cries about them.

The Iraqis believe that the only terrorists that are in their country are the U.S. soldiers!!!

Sad but true!!!!

I realize you can't insult the intelligence of the neo-cons, Thomas. Have some regard for the rest of us.

What ever eric. Afghanistan never attacked us either. Why do you want to send more troops there? How will that win the "war on terror"?

I never said it would win the "war on terror," did I?

I do feel wiping out the Taliban would be more worthwhile than taking out Sadam Hussein. Do you know anything about the Taliban, Thomas?

We do need to be out of Iraq. We should never have been there in the first place.

Yes I do know who the Taliban are. They are of the same ill forsaken beliefs as the Sadrists, they just happen to be of the Sunni . I don't think you can "wipe out" Islamic extremists. If you could, I would be for wiping out both groups.

Debating whether or not we should be in Iraq is a bit useless. We are there. What we do now is what is most important. In both countries. I just see a lot of political postering that is contradictive.
